The Popular Beautiful Idol, Who Suddenly Announced Her Secret Love Relationship and Retired, Is My Girlfriend - Chapter 7 - A Fantasy
Chapter 7 – A Fantasy
“So Tsuyuzaki-san has a boyfriend…”
Uruma muttered, suddenly looking into the distance.
“It wouldn’t be strange if she did. Think about it normally.”
“Well, yeah. She’s friendly as an idol in public, a classmate at school, and, above all, cute… So, it wouldn’t be surprising if she had one or two boyfriends.”
“She only has one boyfriend…”
“Anyway, the twist is probably that she’s secretly dating some handsome actor or something behind the scenes.”
“Maybe…”
Of course, there’s no way I can reveal that I’m the said boyfriend, so I just gave a wry smile.
“What about you? Were you aiming for Tsuyuzaki-san?”
I asked while resting my chin on my hand,
“Of course! Who wouldn’t try their luck with her?!”
“Why do you sound like you’re about to cry?”
Uruma banged on the desk and cried.
“I mean, how could you not aim for such a super-cute, popular idol as a classmate?! Everyone must have thought at least once, like, what if there’s a mistake and we end up dating, there’s always that chance!”
“What chance?”
“Of course a chance to do naughty stuff!”
“That’s just a fantasy.”
“It’s free to imagine! Just being in the same school, the same class, feels like a dream!”
If that’s the case, what kind of person am I, dating the protagonist of this fantasy?
Probably someone enviable for him, and perhaps for the entire nation.
I hate to say it, but I think I’m a person worth admiring.
After all, I’m dating a beautiful idol—basically, I’m the winner.
If these guys find out that Futaba and I are dating, blood will gush from their eyes.
“By the way, are you not interested in that kind of thing?”
He gave me a sharp look.
“Interested, huh… Well, I guess I can’t say I have no interest.”
“What’s with that? Spit it out honestly.”
“I think she’s cute. But I can’t imagine dating her because it’s unrealistic.”
“Wow, I know how you feel.”
I have to say something like this to avoid further probing.
Even if I don’t care, it’s less suspicious to just say she’s cute.
If I were to say I have “absolutely no interest,” it might actually make me seem more suspicious.
“Anyway, the person who is dating Tsuyuzaki-san is probably an actor or something, so it has nothing to do with us.”
I said as I leaned back against the backrest.
To avoid drawing hate towards myself, I steered the conversation to something more realistic.
It’s a good move, if I do say so myself.
