The person who used to hate me, suddenly turned into a yandere! - Chapter 28- Did you kiss him?

Under the dim light, stood a couple, consisting of a handsome young man and a beautiful girl, currently in a very intimate space.

Ryuuji’s hand held Mika’s waist in a rigid grip, as he leaned forward to level their gaze. His eyes were anything but smiling at the moment, with complex emotions surrounding his demeanor.

Mika had her back arched a little with both hands tightly clutching the slab in anticipation and nervousness. Her eyes had slight moisture, not because she hated how Ryuuji was treating her, but something else.

Ryuuji tried his best not to ask about Akiteru and Mika’s relationship. He scolded himself. Forced himself to remember that he shouldn’t meddle with her life anymore.

But in the end, he lost to his insecurities and took such rash decisions. Ryuuji knows he would regret cornering Mika like this, but for now, he just wants to subdue this sting in his heart, somehow.

“I-I won’t do it again…”

Mika assured Ryuuji since she also thought that it was a little clingy of Akiteru, back in the store. As if now, Mika could accept everything to erase the expression Ryuuji has been wearing.

She doesn’t like when he’s mad, but at the same time, she does want him to get jealous?

“And so, what about other things? Did you guys even kiss?”

Ryuuji no longer knew what he was saying. He just couldn’t digest the fact that Mika was in a relationship, and she never told him that.

On the other side, Mika’s eyes slightly widened, as she heard his words. Not in shock, but pure anger. Instantly her back straightened, and the previous meek expression disappeared.

“So, do you think I lied to you when I said, last night was my first time kissing someone? ”

Instantly, the dark clouds over Ryuuji’s face vanished, and a startled expression took its place. Letting go of Mika, Ryuuji stepped back, a little flustered as he stuttered in an unsure tone.

“N-No, I never said you lied to me…”

The time it was Mika who got super mad since Ryuuji doubted her words which she confessed without any fabrication. It was the most honest confession she ever had with anyone, yet he…

“Now you listen to me, Ryuuji-kun! ”

As she stomped forward, Ryuuji instinctively stepped back before he collided with the wall, which was not so apart from the kitchen station

With her ruby eyes narrowed in annoyance, Mika grabbed his tie and pulled him down before their eyes again aligned.

“When I said that you are my first, then believe it. I can never allow anyone to kiss me other than Ryuu-kun. I don’t cook for anyone other than Ryuu-kun. I don’t get mad at anyone like this other than Ryuu-kun. So when I say, Ryuu-kun is special to me, you better trust my words, or who knows, what I might do as a punishment.”

As her words left her supple lips along with her hot breathing, Ryuuji’s face started adapting a crimson hue as he heard each of her words in utter surprise.

Her eyes, which generally remain calm and solemn, were now oozing with rage, not because he did something annoying like in the past, but rather because he didn’t trust her words.

“I-I understand. Sorry… ”

That was all he could mutter at the moment as he accepted what he spoke was a mistake on his part.

Mika didn’t respond to him. She just kept staring with her eyes unmoving.

Soon, silence befell between them as Ryuuji wondered whether he should apologize again, better this time. But suddenly, he saw Mika’s head leaning on his chest and the hold on his tie, loosening.

Her little hands pinched his shirt as, in a weak tone, Mika uttered her mistake which she realized not so long ago.

“I am sorry too…for not telling you before….”

Not sure where Ryuuji should put his hands, he ultimately left them hanging and replied in the same soft tone.

“It’s okay. I also overreacted.”

Mika slowly tilted her head upward with her chin still resting on his chest as she gazed at his eyes from inches apart.

Maybe she had gone mad, or it might be the heat of this moment, but for some reason, through this conversation between them made Mika assured about one thing.

‘I like Ryuu-kun…’
