The person who used to hate me, suddenly turned into a yandere!

Nearly at half past three, Mika and Ryuuji reached the convenience store near the station. It took them almost half an hour as they walked while chatting about various things.

Their conversation mainly circled around the vacation and the unexpected trip they had agreed to.

It was the first time for both of them to go somewhere on vacation with friends. Naturally, both of them were excited enough to be engaged in talking and didn’t realize when they reached their destination.

The automatic door slid on their back as the two stepped inside and felt the cool breeze of AC showering them instantly.

“Ah, it feels great here.”

Mika sighed in delight as she enjoyed the soothing sensation with her eyes closed as Ryuuji went to pick up the shopping basket near the counter.

“Should I buy you something to drink?”

Ryuuji asked as he returned to her. Mika stayed in her trance for some seconds before she took the basket from him and spoke in a resolute tone.

“No, first we accomplish this mission to get every ingredient, and then only I will take a breather. Let’s go.”

Ryuuji chuckled slightly upon seeing such resolve. It seemed Mika was determined to make the perfect meal today as she searched between the shelves carefully.

Slowly she started picking up things one after another. Ryuuji returned those things back to the shelves, which he already had back at home.

Mika was so busy in her shopping that she didn’t notice how hastily the basket was filling and emptying. Now Ryuuji wondered, if he had left Mika to pick everything, even a shopping cart would have been overloaded.

She was all over the place.

“Hey, you are Mika, right?”

Amidst her spree, both Ryuuji and Mika heard a masculine voice from slightly afar before they turned toward the source simultaneously.

Walked toward them was a tall chocolaty boy with long olive-green hair. His physique was on the lean side, with a height almost two inches shorter than Ryuuji’s. With a piercing on his left ear, the guy seemed to be someone famous, coming from an idol group.

The guy glanced at Ryuuji for once before he directed his whole attention on Mika as he walked and hugged her lightly?!

“Hiiiii. It’s been a long time, Mika Hayama. Where were you these three years?”

Mika herself seemed a little uncomfortable, but her smile told Ryuuji that she wasn’t wholly unwilling.

“Aki-kun. How have you been?”

Separating finally, the boy, who Mika called Aki, smiled warmly at her before he spoke in a soft tone.

“I am good, what about you? Came for shopping? ”

Ryuuji was thoroughly ignored at the moment, which he didn’t mind. Well, his whole attention was on Aki’s hand, which never left Mika’s arm as he talked like it was normal to hold someone whom you have met after a long time.

“Yeah, just came to buy some groceries with Ryuu-kun.”

Finally, they turned toward him as Mika seemed to forcibly drag Ryuuji’s name into the conversation.

Turning toward him, Aki let go of Mika as he looked Ryuuji up to down like he was surveying him. In return, Ryuuji just stood there with his gaze unwavering and no evident expression on his face.

For some reason, he was incredibly annoyed at the moment.

The guy extended his hand toward Ryuuji after a long pause as he introduced himself.

“Akiteru Shirigawa. I was a classmate of Mika and also used to date her.”

Suddenly Ryuuji’s grip on Akiteru’s hand tightened as his heart felt aching uncontrollably. Without taking his eyes away, Ryuuji collected himself and returned the gesture.

“Ryuuji Takuya. I am Mika-san’s classmate.”

Mika panicked as she heard the word dating. She seemed wanting to deny it, but in the end, she didn’t since it wasn’t a complete lie on Akiteru’s part.

Finally, letting go of each other, Akiteru turned toward his friend as he spoke in a cheery tone.

“Hey, let’s go to the nearby cafè. Our old friends are also coming. We can have a small reunion. Naomi will be thrilled.”

Ryuuji’s mind was in chaos, with his heartbeat seemingly getting heavier. He prepared to leave as soon as Mika hesitates about what she should do since being with her now would be nothing more than being a third wheel.

But betraying his expectation, Mika replied in an instant.

“Sorry, but I can’t Aki-kun. I am with a friend right now, so…next time, okay?”

And strangely, even Akiteru also didn’t persist and, with a smile, said, “If it’s like then, there is no helping… ”

After they chatted for a short while, Mika finished shopping and left the store at nearly half past four.

After Akiteru left, neither of them talked, which made Mika quite troubled. Only after leaving the store, she finally decided to break the ice.

“Listen, Ryuu-kun. About me and Aki-kun dating… ”

“It’s okay, Mika-san. You don’t have to explain it to me.”

Mika, in astonishment, looked at Ryuuji, who seemed to be in a normal mood as he smiled and assured her.

Mika was a little upset since Ryuuji didn’t mind anything about Akiteru, but bringing up the topic again would make it look like she wants to hurt Ryuuji’s feelings.

‘At least, you could have gotten a little jealous… ‘

Shrugging the thoughts off, Mika never expected that the smile Ryuuji was displaying was all fake and how badly Akiteru influenced him.
