The person who used to hate me, suddenly turned into a yandere! - Chapter 23- I am the only one...right~1!

“It’s really nice to eat together after so long~.”

At nearly seven in the morning, the group of three, Aoki, Mika, and Ryuuji, gathered in the dining hall after the latter two changed into their school uniforms.

This morning’s episode was incredibly embarrassing for both, especially Mika, who not only said such shameless words to Ryuuji but also got caught red-handed by her mother.

Telling anything at that moment would have seemed like a blatant lie, so she just bowed in front of her mother and requested the latter to ask everything at night.

How Mika managed not to faint at that moment was a feat to be honored.

Now Mika was somehow a little calmer as she ate breakfast along with her two important people after such a long time.

Eating so early in the morning wasn’t something Ryuuji also preferred, but in the fluster of events, he went with the flow.

Since Mika washed his drenched uniform last night, Ryuuji took a short bath and changed into the freshly washed uniform before joining the table.

Neither of the youngsters tasted a single bit of the food nor talked throughout the breakfast since their mind was clouded with a hurricane of thoughts.

Both of them had varying matters going in and out concerning various things, and that was something to be expected of their age. Both were new to this kind of relationship and the responsibility that comes with it.

Aoki understood their troubles, but this wasn’t something she preferred to interfere in, so she just enjoyed her delicious ham and bread.

“Thank you for the food. It was quite refreshing, aunty.”

“Doesn’t it? That’s why I always tell Mika to have breakfast in the morning.”

As Ryuuji got up from the table while having a short conversation with the lady, he saw Mika, who also got up almost at the same time, leaving the hall without turning her gaze to him.

“I-I will be back in a minute….”

Uttering a very faint voice, Mika left the dining space as her footsteps echoed off, climbing up the stairs.

Ryuuji took his dishes and helped Aoki to clean up.

“Oh, thank you, Ryuu-kun.”

Putting the dishes in the sink, Ryuuji gave space for the older woman as she started washing them up. After a short pause, as she took the bowls to clean, Aoki spoke in a gentle tone.

“Tell me if something is bothering you, Ryuu-kun.”

By just observing his gestures, Aoki could detect his anxiety, so she asked to ease the young man a little.

Ryuuji got stiff at his place upon hearing her words, but soon he calmed himself since Ryuuji knew how important this confession was to make.

“Last night…nothing happened, Aunty. So please be rest assured. Mika and I just slept under the same blanket.”

Of course, he couldn’t tell her about such steamy stuff, and in the first place, it wasn’t necessary either. What he just wanted to assure the person was that he hadn’t sullen her daughter.

Without turning around, even the words Ryuuji spoke contained such severeness; Aoki spoke in a tone that signified how collected she was.

“I know how serious you are for Mika, Ryuu-kun. Without being in a relationship, I know you wouldn’t go that far with her. So don’t stress about such stuff.”

Ryuuji felt slightly bitter inside since he did something with Mika that only lovers should do. But since he never intended to have sex with her even though he was in such a state of mind, he didn’t feel guilty because of Aoki’s words.

He indeed treasures Mika, and if something really happens between them, then Ryuuji would seek for a proper relationship with her fir-..

‘What am I even thinking again… ‘

Shaking off his thought, he heard Mika’s steps closing in as she appeared not so long after and called out for him.

“Let’s go, Ryuu-kun.”

Unlike some minutes ago, Mika had her natural glow reflecting her moon-white face with her hair now tied in a ponytail as her eyes sparkled brightly in search of him.

Ryuuji bowed to Aoki before he got out of the kitchen and picked up the lunch boxes Aoki had prepared for both of them.

Handing Mika one, Ryuuji put the other one inside his bag before both of them walked to the entrance, with the older one following behind them.

“Be safe on your way~.”

“We will be going then.”

Mika responded in both of their stead in a slightly heavy tone before she walked out side by side with Ryuuji.

For the first five minutes of their walk, neither of them spoke at all. Just walking with a moderate distance between their shoulders, the couple walked in the early morning breeze and pleasant weather.

Ryuuji knew that there might be things Mika wanted to say or complain about since everything that happened in the morning was just a heat-of-the-moment type of talk.

He thought that Mika might be nervous about being scolded by her mother, since being seen in her room with a guy is a serious matter which might raise extreme issues if Mika’s father comes to know about it.

But contrary to his expectations, the first thing Mika asked after so long when they reached the crossing signal was…

“Hey, Ryuu-kun… Tell me, I am the only girl you have kissed until now, right?”
