- The person who used to hate me, suddenly turned into a yandere!
- Chapter 19- Home alone~3!
There has been speculation that those people who get easily scared by scary stuff are the most eager to know about them.
One of the many examples is Mika.
There is a gory horrifying scene at the start of the movie where the joker ghost chews off the arm of the kid. Knowing her tolerance to scary things, Ryuuji thought she would ask to stop the film at that point.
But on the contrary, she continued the movie even though she was dead scared after it revealed what kind of prank she had gotten played.
Ryuuji was feeling guilty for tricking the innocent child in such a manner, but the cute yelps and soft tugs were enough to cloud his regret.
Until that happened…
“Please don’t go there….”
As a scene was brought up on the screen, Mika closed the gap between them in no time as she held him. Without letting him prepare, Ryuuji felt softness choking his left arm as Mika hugged him tightly.
His body became stiff with no room for movement at all before he slowly turned his head to see in what position he had been cornered.
The peculiar soothing fragrance of the girl he loved was the only thing his nose could receive as a smell. The way she clung to his arm gave an incredibly warm sensation that invited him to get addicted to it.
Her crimson eyes carry the emotion he seldom sees in her. Her rosy lips were bitten in anxiousness. Her pale skin, her small nose, her long eyelashes…Ryuuji studied all of them like never before.
He didn’t know whether it was normal, but for some reason, he found everything in this particular girl worthy of adoring. Her small-to-small gestures make his heart skip a beat.
He might want to forget about Mika, but the way things were going, she was unlikely to leave his mind.
“Ah!!”
Mika suddenly hid her face behind Ryuuji’s arm as it seemed the final scene of the movie had been rolling up. The scene when the children go to the sewer.
“If it’s scary, then don’t watch it.”
Ryuuji’s soothing voice helped Mika to calm her raging heart as she looked up innocently at him.
“B-But I want to watch how it ends… Is holding Ryuu-kun no good?”
*BA*DUM*
If he could have handled such heart leaping words, then he already has got over Mika. But sadly, this young man is vulnerable to cute things.
“No, it’s quite okay.”
Ryuuji patted her head and helped Mika get comfortable beside him. All this time, she never left his arm, which had been pressed against her modest breast.
He might not be a pervert, but after this much sensation, he just couldn’t turn a blind eye too.
‘Fuck! I am so gonna remember this… ‘
Cursing his future self, who might do something unspeakable while thinking of this moment, Ryuuji also tried to focus on the movie, and fortunately, he succeeded.
There were moderate thrilling scenes to keep his diverging mind collected as he felt warm liquid dropping on his arm, making him startled.
“Mika-san?”
He didn’t know how and why, but Mika suddenly started weeping silently, with her eyes turning red in an instant.
“That…he…brother…”
Ryuuji understood what it was all about before he turned off the TV. There was an emotional scene about the boy who got his arm snatched by the joker at the start. Well, Ryuuji didn’t find it much heart-touching, but he forgot that there wasn’t only him in the room.
In a panic, Ryuuji draped her head on his chest as he rubbed her back softly while pampering the troubled child.
“It’s okay, Mika-san. Now what’s gone is gone.”
“Bu*sniff* Georgie didn’t deserve *sniff*…”
Taking the tissue, Ryuuji gently wiped her tears. For some reason, he found the crying Mika incredibly adorable, but he would keep that thought aside for now.
“Please don’t go near sewers from*sniff* now on, Ryuu….”
“I won’t, Mika-san. I promise.”
He kept reassuring Mika for half an hour, and before he realized it was already quite late.
By the time Mika calmed down, and they settled back on the couch, it was already over nine, which made Ryuuji startled. But before he could even stand up from his spot, a call arrived on his phone.
“Hello, aunty?”
It was from Mika’s mother, and for some reason, answering her call gave a dangerous premonition at this hour.
“Ah, Ryuu-kun. How have you been? You see, my car has got some problems, and no taxi service works in such a condition. So if it’s okay, can you please stay over for the night? ”
