- The Person I Met On The Internet Turned Out to be a Super Popular Yandere Vtuber
- Chapter 15 - Enchanting Woman
I don’t have hobbies like enjoying other people’s misfortunes.
But I started feeling a bit unsure when I found out the company I used to work for was in trouble… I couldn’t help but think they deserved it.
“…”
“Asahi-san.”
They appeared before us.
It wasn’t planned or arranged… We met by chance like this.
They looked tired.
Considering what happened at the company, it’s not hard to imagine why. That’s why I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw them.
“…Maybe I’m the worst.”
“Asahi-san, shall we go?”
“Yeah.”
Even though we met them, there was nothing to talk about.
As Shiori-san urged us to walk away, she boldly linked arms with me.
Feeling her warmth, a former colleague spoke up.
“Why… Who is that person?”
Without exchanging any words, I intended to leave just like that.
But to him, I must have seemed like a loser who left without saying anything back… He didn’t like seeing me with someone like Shiori-san.
My former boss felt the same way, glaring disapprovingly.
“I don’t need to…”
I was about to say I didn’t need to respond, but Shiori-san reacted quicker.
“He is someone important to me, and I am important to him too.”
Shiori-san said it clearly.
Wide-eyed, they didn’t say anything further. Even if they did, I had no intention of reacting this time.
Leaving them behind, we started walking again.
“Shiori-san, about that…”
“Um…”
I wanted to thank her for saying that, but Shiori-san suddenly blushed.
“Sorry… It was impulsive of me, and embarrassing.”
“No… Um…”
Now it was my turn to blush like her.
“But I really mean it… That was my true feelings.”
“I… feel the same way. Thank you, Shiori-san.”
Shiori-san and I gazed at each other for a moment, then continued walking.
By then, we had returned to our usual selves, able to look each other in the eye and talk. I also felt something had completely disappeared regarding them.
I no longer cared about that company or them at all.
“Asahi-san, you don’t have to worry about anything anymore.”
“Yeah… I’m not worried anymore.”
“Good… I’m glad.”

“Yawn…”
“Seems like I’m tired after all.”
It’s natural to feel sleepy at this hour, but perhaps meeting those colleagues again has drained a bit of energy.
Even though I told Shiori-san I didn’t mind at all… Well, it’s probably such a minor thing that I’ll have forgotten all about it by tomorrow.
“By the way… Being a moderator is quite tough.”
It was my first time as a moderator, but I was immediately given the task.
I logged into the “fortube” video site on my well-used computer and watched over the livestream, making sure not to accidentally comment.
However, I never had to ban anyone.
There were some borderline comments, but mainly I kept an eye out for abusive remarks that would damage someone’s reputation or excessive spamming. Yet, the comment section was completely peaceful.
“I think this is normal though.”
Well, there are plenty of decent comments about Citrus members.
For other famous streamers, especially those known for attracting harsh comments and abuse, their comment sections can truly become chaotic due to the nature of their viewership.
Whether collaborating with such people or participating in large-scale events where Vtubers gather, even members of Citrus tend to attract strange viewers, so I guess we’ll have to work hard at those times.
“Is Shiori-san having an after-talk with the members now?”
Today’s livestream was a collaboration involving all twelve Citrus members.
To be honest, I couldn’t focus properly on my moderator duties because I was so absorbed in enjoying the lively stream with Shiori-san and everyone else.
“This won’t do… But it’s amazing that even this is enjoyable.”
A new job… Though I wonder if I can really call it a job, I find it most enjoyable when I can do something for Shiori-san, whether it’s taking action or worrying about it.
I want to be more and more helpful to her.
It’s not that I want her to thank me… but still, I want to hear her say “thank you”… So I’ll keep working hard from now on.
“But… I wonder what they’re talking about.”
I’m a fan of Iroha Tokizami, who Shiori-san plays, but I also like or am indifferent to the other members.
That’s why I’m curious about what they talk about in private now that I’m in this position… Haha, thinking like this might be absolutely bad, so I lightly tap my cheeks.
“I understand the meaning of not showing ego.”
I say these words and head towards the fridge to grab some juice.
Even though it’s someone else’s house, I don’t hesitate to open the fridge like this, or even to move around every corner of the room… Shiori-san laughed, saying it’s a good trend, but I didn’t think I’d accept it this far.
“Shiori-san…”
I wonder what she really thinks of me.
That thought bothered me a little, but… I’m probably still a coward who doesn’t have the courage to ask.
“Sigh! Alright, I’ll study until Shiori-san comes back.”
I momentarily forget what I was thinking and start studying a bit.
It’s about video editing techniques, or how to create thumbnails and content that can attract viewers’ interest.
Sometimes, Shiori-san posts videos that she edited herself.
She’s mainly into live streaming, so she’s always busy… That’s why I wanted to help Shiori-san and Iroha Tokizami’s name spread even more.
“I’m really happy that you’re working hard together… Thanks ♪”
…Shiori-san is truly enchanting.
