- Chapter 3 - Communicating with Navi-chan
The strange voice was quite knowledgeable.
When I casually went along with the conversation, it taught me various things.
[Mortal, this is not the world you came from.]
A fantasy world where war never ceased.
Apparently, a world where magic, monsters, and races other than humans truly lived.
[All of you, approximately 500 second-year students of Royal Central Academy High School, have been reincarnated into this world by this world’s “Chief Deity, Maris.” As heroes who embody the will of the gods in this world.]
What an incredibly troublesome deity.
But why?
[Unknown. Outwardly, as children of prophecy, your arrival and reincarnation was conveyed in the form of an oracle as a gift from the gods.]
Apparently, we were brought to this world because of some god we don’t really understand.
Hmm, it’s a thankfully easy-to-understand template development.
But there were still several things that bothered me.
“This is isekai reincarnation, right? Do everyone’s memories of the previous world—”
[They don’t have them. All reincarnators except you have lost their memories of the time spent in the original world.]
“Yikes.”
The god or whatever that summoned us was probably no good.
Stealing memories, giving power, trying to make us do something?
Scary… I should lock the door.
Ah, the front door was coming off…
“There’s someone more villainous than me, no, more like a mastermind… that’s unfair.”
Nice, someone that evil probably wasn’t a mob.
Hmm, manipulating others at will with supernatural power.
Totally a villain.
OK, got it, Chief Deity Maris, high villain points.
[Player, you are… well, you don’t seem very confused. Interesting.]
“Rather, I’m getting a bit motivated. Magic, Gifts, another world. There’s no chuuni who dislikes that kind of thing.”
[Your mental age should be 17 though.]
“I’ll probably love fantasies, dreams, and delusions until I die. I don’t feel like I’ll dry up even when I become an adult. Alright, now that’s decided, let’s start, villain play!!”
[Um… normally, shouldn’t you be doing something else here? Like, asking more about this world, or about me? Aren’t you curious? You know? I’m quite the mysterious existence, aren’t I?]
I see, what this voice says does have a point.
But no.
The villain I want to become would, like, grasp the situation without needing explanations with more omniscient vibes!
[Um, Player?]
This thing was suspicious to begin with.
A mysterious voice trying to teach a mob who reincarnated in another world about the world.
I can tell… You’re evil.
And it smells like quite a high-class mastermind lurking villain move…
Can’t lose, I’m the true villain!!
The reaction to this kind of mastermind lurking villain move is—
“Don’t care.”
[…What.]
“I don’t care who or what you are. There’s only one thing I need to know—are you enemy or ally?”
…Crap, did I go too far?
What should I do, I’d hate it if they got angry.
Even now, should I apologize—
[…I see, Player. I think I understand why my voice could be heard by you. Very well, I shall continue to watch over your future for a while longer.]
“…Do as you like.”
It was fine.
For a moment I felt incredibly cold, but it’s my imagination. This run-down house has terrible drafts. A fearless attitude that doesn’t back down one step against an unidentified voice.
Sounds like a villain. Good!!
[So then, Player. What will you do now? You were expelled from the rite of selection. You cannot receive education as a hero. Regarding the “Seven Ends” that will occur in this world, you are far too powerless.]
“…Heh.”
[…Just dismissing it with a laugh, is it? That’s just like you. Very well, mortal.]
“Heh.”
[My name is Navi. Mortal. No, Player. One who hears my voice.]
“Yeah.”
[You should live as you like and behave as you like. What lies before you is the entire world. Go, see, experience. Become what you want to be, do what you want to do. In this world bearing the fate of destruction.]
“Trivial matters.”
Softly.
The voice disappeared.
…Eh? The world’s going to end?
Life Field, this world—too much destruction.
Maybe I shouldn’t have been saying “heh.”
But somehow, that was good, like a conversation between cunning individuals who don’t back down.
I feel like I had good communication.
…But the world’s going to end, huh.
Come to think of it, even in that sanctuary they were saying something about children of prophecy to resist the prophecy of the end times.
“Well, whatever!”
What’s important is my own life rather than the world’s fate. Escaping mob life, this time around I’ll become a villain. First, what’s necessary for that is.
“Confirming my abilities.”
Remember, that sensation from earlier.
Heat.
That feeling of heat coursing through my body.
The darkness that welled up in my palm, the strange mouse.
A special power.
Gift—
Strangely, unconsciously, my mouth spun those words.
“Spell Deploy.”

Oh. Roleplay mc! I like these. The moment i saw all the tropes about to hit with the popular kids and the one pretty girl i was about to drop but i like the (albeit very abrupt) mindset taking of the mc who wants to be a villain (roleplay)
