The Man Whose Beloved Girlfriend Was Stolen Destroys Everything ~After Being Forced to Witness the NTR Scene, What Awaited Him Was a Dungeon. - Episode 7: Escape.
Episode 7: Escape.
Gravity pulled me down toward the stone paving at the same moment the werewolf’s grotesque, headless upper torso slammed wetly beside me.
I crouched closer to examine the wound. The cut surface was ragged and brutal—clearly torn apart by teeth rather than sliced cleanly. I wanted to study it longer, but within seconds the corpse began dissolving into shimmering particles, scattering into nothingness. No drop item this time either. After all that struggle, not even a consolation prize. Brutal.
「……」
『【Devour】』
The instant I uttered the skill name, the werewolf’s upper body had simply… vanished. Complete and instantaneous death. Since it happened right after I spoke, there was no other explanation: this was my skill at work. Like leveling up itself, the fundamental mechanics of “skills” remained largely unexplained—mysteries even to the experts.
“Well… at least I understand how to use it now. Needs more testing, though. For the moment… this left arm comes first.”
I shifted my gaze to what remained of my left arm—the part below the elbow was gone entirely. Blood poured out in a steady stream. Determined not to repeat the near-fatal blood loss from the Night Wolf fight, I hurriedly snatched up the shredded remnant of what had once been my hoodie and cinched it brutally tight around the stump.
The bleeding slowed to a sluggish ooze, but in exchange a vicious, nerve-scraping pain surged forth—pain that had been mercifully dormant until now.
“Didn’t think it would go as far as full amputation…”
My own severed arm lay in the middle of a growing pool of crimson on the stone floor. Knowing it belonged to me only made the sight more nauseatingly surreal.
“Never imagined I’d get to hold my own arm in my lifetime.”
It was heavier than expected. I lifted the grisly trophy with care, then wrapped it gently in another scrap of ruined fabric from the stage. If—when—I made it back to the surface, maybe there was a chance it could be reattached… assuming it didn’t rot beyond saving first.
“…? What the hell is that?”
At the center of the platform, a faintly glowing circular pattern had appeared. I took half a cautious step back and studied it.
Geometric shapes intertwined with arcane symbols—familiar in a distant, half-remembered way. The connection clicked almost immediately.
A magic circle.
The tool mages used as a medium to cast spells. But why now, of all times?
I examined it more closely—and froze.
“…! This is a Transfer Magic Circle…!!”
Exactly as the name implied: step onto it, and the array would forcibly teleport the occupant to a pre-designated location. Defeating the werewolf must have unlocked it. My gamble had paid off. Relief washed over me like cool water.
The destination was unknown, so caution should have been the priority… but honestly? I was already in the deepest, most lethal layer of a dungeon. What was one more risk?
I took one step onto the circle, then brought the other foot in to stand fully within its bounds.
The array flared brighter. My outline began to blur, edges softening into light. The transfer was beginning.
The world bleached white. A sickening sensation—like being pulled through layers of space itself—gripped my body.
Then my consciousness simply… cut out.
