A Kansai Guy, Terrified by the Entire Lineup of Heroines.
Akitani Mio.
Like Natsume Shina and Fuyuki Rinko, she’s one of the heroines of NTR HAZARD.
Among the three, she’s the shortest—but has the biggest chest. A design that hits every weak spot of the players, crafted with full understanding of what makes them tick.
And yet, she’s also the protagonist, Imamiya Toshiya’s ever-reliable caretaker. She wakes him up in the morning, makes him lunch, lets him copy her homework—she’s the textbook example of the devoted, wholesome heroine.
Chestnut bob hair, large gentle eyes, and a soft, soothing way of speaking. Truly, a heroine among heroines who walks the purest path of them all.
Incidentally, she’s also the one who’s held the No. 1 spot in fan polls for “Favorite Heroine” every single year.
“Morning, Mio-chan!”
“Good morning.”
“G-Good mornin’…”
“Uh, um… g-good morning, Tennouji-kun…”
Mio looked between Natsume, Fuyuki, and me—clearly bewildered. And who could blame her? I’m the troublemaker of the class, the school’s number one delinquent, the guy people treat like a yakuza even outside school. If her two friends were suddenly chatting with me, anyone would think they were being threatened… or hit on.
“Hey, hey, Mio-chan! Guess what? I became friends with Tennouji-kun!”
“Eh, r-really? So you properly thanked him this time?”
“Ehehe, yep! We even exchanged contacts on POINE!“
“Wow, that’s wonderful~”
It was like watching a Labrador puppy wag its tail off in joy, doting on its owner—an overwhelmingly heartwarming sight unfolding right in front of me.
But more than that…
Right here, before my eyes, were the three heroines I once loved so much it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say I died for them in a past life. The emotions were indescribable.
Their smiles were dazzling. Seeing them happily dating Imamiya in the game had been painful… but beautiful.
Then came Tennouji’s betrayal, and that ending burned into my mind.
If I remember right, I destroyed five monitors and who knows how many mice by the time I reached Mio’s ending.
Her route was what broke me the most.
After being stolen away by Tennouji, Mio fell—completely.
She turned into someone unrecognizable—flashier than Natsume ever was. Piercings, smoking, drinking, drowning in pleasure. Naturally, hers had the most “adult scenes” in the game. Every time I replayed them, I’d snap—and shatter at least three mice.
And of course, with no protection, she eventually became pregnant.
“I… I think I’m pregnant. But it’s Daiki-kun’s baby, so… I’ll do my best to give birth to it.”
She said it so earnestly.
Tennouji only responded with a “Yeah, sure,” and stayed with her for a while. But once her belly started to show, he must’ve decided things were getting inconvenient—he disappeared. Quit school. Vanished without a trace.
Mio waited for him at his house for days, then weeks, then months…
When it became clear he wasn’t coming back, she finally returned home and confessed everything to her parents. A delinquent daughter.
Pregnant with the child of a man they didn’t even know. And worse—she said she wanted to keep the baby. Her parents exploded in anger and disowned her on the spot.
They covered her hospital fees out of guilt—“The child is innocent”—and found her a small, crumbling apartment to live in. But life there was brutal. A part-time job or two wasn’t nearly enough to survive. So she turned to the only work that paid—
A high-end bathhouse.
Even then, life didn’t get easier. She had to care for her child, keep working, keep breathing. She was being crushed, little by little.
And then, one day—she saw Tennouji again.
In the red-light district. With a flashy woman clinging to his arm.
She called out to him. Told him about their child. Begged him for help.
And Tennouji said—
“Who the hell are you? You think I’d give money to some used-up whore I played with?”
Those words destroyed her.
Beaten and left alone in the rain, she returned home, drenched to the bone, stood before her sleeping child… and picked up a kitchen knife.
“I’m sorry.”
The screen went black.
A slicing sound.
The sound of rain.
Another slice— Then only one word appeared on screen: “End.”
That was the moment I lost it.
I tore at my hair, screamed at the top of my lungs, threw my mouse at the monitor, smashed it, yanked out the display cable, and hurled the whole thing out the window. Neighbors called the police—apparently, a whole squad showed up.
There’s not even a word for how messed up that ending was. These three… had no salvation. None.
Sorry for ranting so long, but seriously, the dev team who did that?
They’ve gotta be psychopaths.
Looking at Mio now, smiling softly like that—there’s no way I’d ever let something like that happen again.
I’ll protect that smile. No… I have to protect it.
“Um, Shi-chan and Tennouji-kun, did you two dye your hair together?”
“Nah, I was surprised myself. I looked in the mirror two days ago, thought blonde didn’t suit me, so I re-dyed it yesterday.”
“Ah, I did it ‘cause Tennouji-kun told me to!”
“Did I, now…?”
“You did! You said flashy colors were bad! Ehehe, you dyed yours yesterday too, right? We match now, hehe~”
Cute.
Why’s her face getting red like that?
She’s making me fall for her all over again.
Wait—scratch that, I already fell long ago.
Not that it matters. I’m just a background character now—someone cheering on Imamiya’s romance from the sidelines.
“Still, isn’t black-haired Natsume-san super cute?”
“F-Feh!? C-Cute!?”
“Yeah, I think it suits her more than blonde.”
“Right? Man, I’m glad I talked to her.”
“Don’t get cocky.”
“Guh—sorry, Fuyuki-san…”
“Fufu, Tennouji-kun, you’ve really changed. You were terrifying last semester.”
“I was reborn two days ago. Realized how stupid I’d been acting, and decided to start being a decent human being.”
“S-so that’s how it is…”
“Tennouji-kun’s super kind, you know! I’m saying it, so it’s true! You can trust him, Mio-chan!”
Well, I’ve got sins from the first semester to make up for. I know earning their trust won’t be easy—it’s probably buried deeper than the Mariana Trench. But I’ll take it one step at a time.
“W-Well, if you ever need help with anything, I’d… be happy if you relied on me a little.”
“Shi-chan’s saying that much… alright. If anything comes up, I’ll ask.”
“Same here, thank youuu!”
“Then, just like Shi-chan said, maybe I’ll add you on POINE?”
“Eh, really!?”
“Huh? Should I not?”
“No, no, I’m happy! Really!”
“Rin-chan’s registered too, right?”
“Shina forced me into it.”
“Hey! You didn’t say no!”
“……Haah.”
“Boo—oh! Mio-chan, lend me your phone!”
And just like that, I got the contact info of all three heroines.
Is this even okay?
I’m so happy I could scream.
miomio: Akitani Mio here. Please take care of me.
Daiki: Nice to meet you. I’m Tennouji Daiki.
Please take care of me as well.
miomio. What a cute username.
Even if it was just a polite exchange, it made my heart flutter.
“Cute nickname.”
“F-Fweh!?”
“Ahaha, isn’t Mio-chan adorable?”
Her eyes spun, her face turned bright red.
Right… I forgot how weak she was to words like that.
That’s why, even after turning into a flashy gal, she’d melt whenever Tennouji called her cute or said he loved her—and she’d give him everything.
“By the way, where’s Imamiya-kun?”
“Phew, it’s hot… Ah, he went to the restroom before coming.”
Finally… I’d get to see him—the protagonist himself.
Imamiya, I’m rooting for you with everything I’ve got—
“W-What the hell are you doing!! Tennouji!!!”
With a thunderous voice, Imamiya Toshiya appeared— and screamed right at me.

wtf is wrong with this beta cuck mc? like he’s so fucking pathetic, every time he thinks or speaks its just pure cringe.
What is so cringe about the way he speaks or thinks, this meight be your first novel of this kind if you think this guy is acting like a BETA CUCK MC.
A beta cuck MC would have on the first site of a female would squirm and get flustered and run away, adn there would be a multi ch arc for them to just exchange contacts.
Seriously though, I’m legit crying from these TRAGIC endings!! Those poor heroines!! 😭
The Demonic Devs tho~
I hope they always stub all of their toes on any surface, about 6 kN of force~
Man this chapter is really highlighting how much MC has MAJOR anger issues. Like I’ve never gotten that mad at a game to wreck 1 mouse let alone many monitors, mice and cops called. This just makes him super pathetic
M
I mean, given those endings… Reasonable crashout. A bit parasocial but which otaku isn’t a parasocial ? At least a little ?
I think it was a reasonable crashout
I think it’s just exaggerated attempt at humor. Cartoonish, you might say. To be fair though, those endings WERE messed up. I legit cried. 😢 Also, don’t forget that he worked for a black company with barely 4 hours of sleep every day with little time for eating and kicking back to relax. Stress can do things to you. 💀
