A Kansai Soul, Speaking with Passion.
Fuyuki Rinko — the tallest of the three, with a slender, model-like figure.
Her chest size? …Well, honestly, I think the other two are just too big. Hers is perfectly fine.
She has straight black hair that falls to her shoulders and sharp, striking eyes. Her expressions rarely show emotion — except when she’s with Natsume or Akitani.
The reason, I later learned, goes back to her childhood.
When she was in elementary school, a private tutor once tried to assault her. Since then, she’s carried a deep trauma toward men… and an aversion that never truly faded. I suppose she talks to me because I often chat with Natsume-san, so she probably feels a bit safer around me.
Rinko had been a frail child, in and out of hospitals due to recurring illnesses.
During those long hospital stays, she buried herself in books, building a world of her own through stories.
She never wanted to burden her parents — never complained, never demanded anything, always endured quietly. She’s brilliant, but not very athletic. Her hobby is reading — especially mystery novels.
In the game, Rinko was easily the most difficult heroine to win over. Just when you thought you’d finally gotten close to her, one wrong choice — one single bad option — and it’s straight to a bad ending.
Though honestly… The bad ending almost felt like mercy. At least then, her connection with Tennouji was cut off.
But when you finally do manage to get together with her, she becomes completely attached. Utterly devoted. Her defining keyword is dependence.
After living so long without being able to rely on anyone, it was as if all the emotions she’d kept bottled up burst forth at once — and she clung to Imamiya like he was her whole world.
And then, once Tennouji gets his hands on her…
She becomes just as dependent on him.
No matter how cruel or twisted his demands are, she accepts them all.
“I’ll do anything you say, Dai-kun. Anything. So… you won’t abandon me, right?”
Her CG scenes were… unbelievably erotic.
Pierced tongue, multiple piercings, tattoos — all on Tennouji’s orders. She did it all just so he wouldn’t throw her away.
My favorite CG—dammit, can’t believe I’m saying this—was the one where she’s flipping the bird, tongue out, showing off her tongue piercing with a defiant glare.
In the end, though, even Tennouji grows tired of her suffocating dependence. He kicks her out.
That scene… it wrecked me.
She keeps asking “Why?” over and over again, laughing in that broken way of hers — I swear that one scene must’ve been 500 words of sheer madness and grief.
I was so furious at Tennouji’s cruelty, I slammed my fist into the monitor and cracked it.
In the ending, Rinko is shown in a psychiatric ward, talking to the wall, her mind long gone. Then the credits roll.
After the credits, she suddenly looks up at the sky and says—
“Ahaha… ahaha… ahh, Dai-kun, I found you.”
She goes up to the rooftop, climbs over the railing, and reaches out toward the sky.
“Wait for me, Dai-kun. I’m coming to you now. Let’s do naughty things again, okay? I’ll do anything for you…”
The screen goes black. Then there’s a crunch.
And the word “End.”
I bawled my eyes out. I mean ugly cried.
So much that my bath towel could’ve been wrung out like a sponge.
Then I threw my mouse at my monitor again and broke it — the new one I’d just bought a week ago.
When the delivery guy brought a replacement, he just laughed and said,
“Broke it again, huh? Hahaha!”

Anyway, I ended up exploring the library with Rinko.
Since she’s on the library committee, she gave me a quiet little tour.
“Tennouji-kun, you read Kindaichi novels?”
“Yeah, been reading them since I was a kid. My old man’s got a whole collection, but I’ve been trying to find something new lately. I like buying them, but I hate it when I hit a dud, y’know?”
“I see. In that case… I recommend this series here.”
“Oh hey, this one was turned into a drama, right? The Sakyo series.”
“…Drama? It was made into a movie, sure, but not a drama.”
Wait, what? Oh right — this game came out years before I died…
Damn it, that’s a time paradox!
I could’ve sworn I saw a new drama adaptation every year…
“Huh? Oh… maybe I’m just remembering wrong. Sorry about that.”
“It’s fine. But this book really is interesting. You should read it.”
“Thanks. Guess I’ve got something to kill time with at night now.”
“You like reading that much, Tennouji-kun?”
“Yeah, love it. This Partner Series is amazing. Especially this volume — the culprit’s a total psychopath. But when he’s talking with Sakyo-san, he acts perfectly normal. Honestly, I think he’s the only one in the whole series who can go toe-to-toe with Sakyo-san like that.”
I used to read that series on my way to work whenever I had time. Right after Kindaichi, it was my go-to. Haven’t read it in three years now.
Can’t believe that psycho storyline was from such an early volume, though.
“Ah…”
Crap. I totally nerded out. Way too much.
She’s definitely freaked out now…
“Your thoughts are so detailed, it’s fascinating. Say, Tennouji-kun — would you mind if I borrowed that volume? I’d love to read it.”
“Oh? Uh, yeah, sure. Then I’ll grab this one instead.”
“That one’s great too. Tell me what you think after you finish?”
“Got it. Then you tell me your thoughts on this one, too.”
“Of course. Since someone as knowledgeable as you spoke so passionately about it, I’m looking forward to it.”
“Heh, thanks. And hey, if you’re too tired to talk about it, you can just message me on POINE.”
“All right.”
“Cool, I’ll just fill out the library card… there.”
“Okay. Then I’ll prepare it for you.”
“I’ll be back next week. Let’s share our thoughts then.”
“Sounds good.”
“All right, time to dive in. See ya.”
Man, it’s kind of fun — sharing books and talking about them like that. I want to make sure I read it properly, note the good and bad parts, and really do the story justice — I don’t want to disappoint Rinko-san.
Still… she didn’t say anything, but I totally overdid it with my rant. Gotta tone it down next time…

Fuyuki Rinko’s POV.
After that incident with Shina, I started talking with Tennouji-kun now and then.
He’s… different from Imamiya-kun.
He doesn’t look at us with those… eyes. Even when Shina lets her guard down — and she often does — he always keeps his gaze level, meeting her eyes when he speaks.
Imamiya-kun, on the other hand, can’t stop staring whenever Mio’s chest so much as moves.
So, yeah. Tennouji’s… unexpected.
That someone like him loves books — that he can speak so passionately and thoughtfully about a story’s content — that surprised me more than a little.
Imamiya would just say things like “Whoa, that’s crazy!” or “That’s awesome!” Sometimes I doubt he even read the book. I found that pathetic.
Why am I even comparing the two?
N-no, it’s nothing. Probably just… the suspension bridge effect, right? He protected me when those books nearly fell on me. That’s all.
Because men — all men — are beasts.
“Rinko-chan, today we’ll have a special lesson. Today’s subject… is health and physical education.”
“No! Stop! You’re scaring me! Mom! Mooooom!”
“Be quiet!!”
“What on earth are you doing!?”
“Mom!!!!”
“I-it’s not what it looks like—!”
Even remembering it makes my legs tremble. I’m shaking.
I’m not cute like Mio or Shina… But still, boys keep confessing to me.
And every time, their eyes — they look at me the same way he did. That tutor.
So I always answer calmly, before they can see my fear.
“I’m sorry. I’m not interested in romance.”
But Tennouji-kun… doesn’t give off that feeling.
Maybe it’s because Shina’s so close to him. Maybe he’s different.
…No. I’m sure I’ll end up disillusioned sooner or later. Men only ever think about that anyway.
Ah… that’s right. I need to give Tennouji-kun a piece of my mind.
Rinko: Tennouji-kun, you totally spoiled the plot twist of that novel for me.
Daiki: …Sorry.
“Heh.”
It was such a short exchange — and yet, for some reason, I found myself smiling.
At that time, I still hadn’t realized that I was already beginning to trust him.

Man, these endings are killing me! They’re so evil and pathological! 😭💀
But I’m glad that Rinko is warming up to him. She needs happiness. They ALL need happiness. Away from that CREEP!
I think any dev like that wouldn’t last long outside of a very VERY niche audience.
