This is how I parted ways with family and set out on a journey, but when I put my luggage on my back, I sense something strange in my luggage. I searched for any sign of the voice around me, but there was not a single person around.

The source of the voice was from my luggage. When I listen more carefully, it seemed that the divine sword itself was emitting a sound, a sound that I had never heard before–.

After assuring her of this, we headed straight north.

After a few kilometers of walking, we saw an inn town.

She was making a lot of noise. By the way, I didn’t order it because I was hungry. I only bought them to get some information from the owner.

When I received the skewers, I complimented the owner on how delicious they were. Then, I asked the owner where he gets his meat from. It seems that chicken breeding is very popular in this area. Afterwards, we made small talk and asked him about the situation in the town up north.

“What, big brother, are you going to the northern town?”

“I heard there’s an adventurer’s guild in that area.”

“You want to be an adventurer? It’s true that there are only a few guilds around here. After all, it’s the countryside.”

I laughed.

“If House Estark governs well, this town would be more prosperous.”

When I said that sarcastically, the owner laughed, that told me that what I said must be true.

“Well, House Estark isn’t tyrannical, and they’re not too strict with taxes. All in all, they’re good lords.”

The owner lightly follows up and gives us more information about the town up north.

“It’s true that the town up north is the most prosperous in the area, but the road leading there is now closed.”

I thanked him for the valuable information and ordered one more skewer.

The owner gave me an affectionate look and grilled a second skewer for me.

“Here they are!”

He was a little noisy, but with this guy around, it seemed like I would never be bored.

In the adventure stories I used to read, there was a clown like Tyrfing who accompanied the heroes, encouraging them, making them laugh, and cheering them up. I don’t remember what the clown’s name was, but he may have played such a role to be the most powerful weapon.
