At Masaka Corporation, there is currently an idol group that they are focusing on promoting.

“October” with Riku, Sora, Umi, Mori.

“November” with Hii, Sui, Fuu, Tsutsuchi.

“December” with Aiko, Iiko, Gaiko, Toiko.

Although they were divided into energetic, cute, cool, elegant, pop, sexy, unique, healing, skilled, lady-like, comedic, and gal types, they were actually part of a single idol group called “Four Ears,” which consisted of 48 members.

The group name was apparently chosen by the current president as a good omen (good fortune comes knocking), and it was derived from the name of the month. However, the idol names were given by the idols themselves, making them easy for fans to remember and catchy. As a result, there are some unfortunate members with not-so-great taste.

“Everyone~ thank you for gathering here today~”

The overall team leader and today’s leader of the red team, “January,” Yuu, waves both hands from the stage towards the audience, then smiles at us… No, at me.

Tsukune and Nanako seem to be fine. I thought Nanako would be okay because she seems mentally strong, but Tsukune is surprising. Seeing her eyes sparkle, she might actually like idols.

This time, it seems that the idol group “Four Ears” with 48 members will be divided into the red and white teams for a singing competition, but there will only be 10 judges.

Three people from Masaka Corporation and three people from Oomaru TV station, plus three people we don’t know, and us (the five of us “Armed Girls” counted as one). Everyone is glancing at us. We just came as instructed, but since we sat down at the last minute, we didn’t greet anyone. That’s probably why they’re curious. I give a slight nod as a greeting. And it seems that this Happy Day event will be live-streamed on netTube from 7 PM to 9 PM, but actually, around 5:30 PM before the venue opens, a reporter from Oomaru TV (local TV) will be covering it as one of the Happy Day event highlights.

While the 48 members of “Four Ears” were being interviewed, we “Armed Girls” were standing behind them with our backs turned. Did anyone notice…

“Alright, before we go into the song, let me introduce the judges to everyone…”

Huh? Are they introducing me here? Isn’t this a surprise? Tsuku, Chiko, Sari, and Nako all had complicated expressions, as if they were thinking the same thing as I.

Even so, the three people from Masaka Corporation stood up, and Yuu began the introduction. Their actions were projected onto the screen-shaped monitor next to the stage.

I thought they were employees because they were in suits, but they were actresses from the same Masaka company who are currently active in TV dramas. That was close, that was close. 

I don’t watch TV, so I would have been rude to greet them without knowing who they were. As the actresses bowed their heads in response to Yuu’s introduction, we clapped in time with the loud applause from the back of the venue.

When the actresses glanced over here, I could see their faces a bit, but they were shy from the applause, and it was cute. They looked so mature, though.

The Oomaru TV station staff were… oh, they were the reporters.

One was the person who reported earlier, and the other two arrived later (they were reporters, too).

If I’m someone who watches the broadcasts on Oomaru TV, I must have definitely seen these people before. The applause and cheers are incredible. They might be popular reporters. We clapped along, too.

“Next up…”

The three people who stood up next were fans of ‘Four Ears’. They seemed to be chosen by lottery. I heard voices saying “Lucky them,” but they received applause for their safe introduction and quickly took their seats. Of course, we clapped too.

And then, as we stood up and appeared on the screen, a chorus of cheers and excited screams filled the air.

There were calls of “Taketo-kun!” directed at me, as well as “Chiko-chan,” “Tsuku-chan,” “Sari-chan,” and “Nako-chan.” “Why…?”

It seemed that our presence as the ‘Armed Girls’ in the judges’ seats had already been discovered.

We bowed our heads to the audience, who responded with cheers and shouts of excitement to Yuu’s introduction and took our seats.
