- The Female Hero Party That Exiled Me, All of Them Are Mentally Broken
- Chapter 7 - All the Heroines Were Broken
The next morning.
The sunlight coming through the window was so bright it woke me up, and I felt a heavy but comforting weight on my back.
Since last night, Yuria had been stuck to my back and arms and not letting go.
Her sweet smell and the warmth of her soft skin pressed against me through my pajamas.
When I quietly turned to look, I saw Yuria’s face while holding tightly onto the hem of my pajamas and breathing steadily in her sleep.
There were faint traces of tears under her eyes.
For the past three months, ever since she kicked me out, she had been feeling lonely all by herself.
She and the others had pretended to be mean, so I wouldn’t die on the battlefield.
Their clumsy kindness ended up hurting their own hearts so badly.
I felt a sharp pang of guilt in my chest. How cruel I had been to them.
“Mmm, Al.”
The moment I moved to pat her head, Yuria slowly opened her blue eyes.
She pressed even harder against my chest with both arms, as if checking that I wouldn’t run away.
“Good morning, Yuria. You’re squeezing too hard, let go a little.”
“No.”
She shook her head and buried her face against my neck while rubbing her cheek against me.
The way she pouted and acted clingy felt almost like a little child.
Come to think of it, has she always been this attached to me?
Smiling at the memory, I gently pulled her arms off me, like peeling off octopus tentacles.
Rubbing my sleepy eyes, I finally crawled out of bed and opened the door.
“Eh? Why is Naitsu-san sitting like that?”
On the cold wooden floor of the hallway, Naitsu-san was sitting straight in a formal kneeling position while wearing her silver armor.
Her eyes were dark circles under them, and she looked up at me with a serious and guilty expression.
“I’ve been reflecting deeply on the sin of hurting Al-kun, who looks so much like my precious little brother. I’ve been sitting like this all night to punish myself.”
What the heck.
I knew she said I looked like her brother, but this was way too much.
Because she’d been sitting on the cold floor all night, her pale cheeks had turned almost blue.
“I’m not worried about that. Look at me, Naitsu-san.”
When I reached out my hand gently, she flinched.
Tears spilled from her eyes, and her face showed the overwhelming feelings she had for me.
“You’re too kind. You’ll forgive me? Your big sister?”
“Eh, y-yeah.”
“Thank you. From now on, your big sister will protect you forever, until you die. Y-you call me big sister, okay?”
Naitsu-san stood up with her face red and hugged my right arm tightly.
I let out a helpless sound as I felt her chest pressing against me through the gaps in her armor.
Then I looked around and realized Serara-san wasn’t anywhere nearby.
With two beautiful girls hanging on my arms, I slowly made my way outside the inn.
On the main street, the cold morning wind blowing, Serara-san was waving at her staff.
Her holy magic could not only heal, but also repair broken things.
She had apparently stayed up all night while repairing the town that the monsters had destroyed.
“Serara-san. Don’t overwork yourself and stay up all night.”
When I ran up and called out, Serara-san gasped and turned.
Then she threw herself onto the cobblestones and bowed deeply at my feet.
“Please don’t call me Serara-san. Alphonse-sama. No, Alphonse God.”
“God!?”
“Yes. Punish me for hurting the great god. Take off these clothes and hurt me as much as you want now.”
Serara-san grabbed the torn collar of her robe with a blissful look on her face and tried to reveal her skin.
I couldn’t help but notice how close Naitsu-san was pressed against my arm, and this was honestly all too much.
No, never mind.
I quickly shook my head and wrapped both of my hands around her pale hands.
“T-the punishment thing is done. I already forgive you. Put your clothes back on.”
I tried desperately to stop her, but their overflowing love couldn’t be stopped by anyone.
From behind me, Yuria’s sweet breath tickled my ear, and Naitsu-san’s soft weight pressed on my arm.
“Um, Yuria, move away.”
“No. I won’t let go, not even for a moment.”
“Your big sister will protect you forever.”
“I will serve my god as a devoted follower and dedicate my body to pleasing my god forever.”
A flood of heavy emotions hit me from all sides, more than I could handle.
Surrounded by their unstoppable love, I looked up at the blue sky and felt hopeless.
E-everyone has completely lost it.
