The Female Hero Party That Exiled Me, All of Them Are Mentally Broken - Chapter 42
When I woke up, I found myself inside a locked room in a familiar guild house.
I had just survived almost suffocating, but before I could feel relieved, I noticed something strange about my body.
For some reason, I was dressed in a cute girl’s outfit.
“You’re awake, Alphonse.”
“Mako-san! What happened to me?”
“After that, you passed out. Naitsu and Cecily worked together, and they brought you here and changed your clothes without asking.”
Mako-san explained in my head, sounding tired of it all.
When I looked up, I saw Naitsu-san standing there with a big smile, with her skin looking strangely smooth and glowing.
“Good morning, my cute little brother. Your clothes? Your big sister changed them! It was my job!”
“You’re not my sister, and that doesn’t count. Why am I dressed like a girl?”
“That was Cecily’s idea.”
Naitsu-san pointed at the receptionist standing beside her.
I lowered my head and let out a deep sigh.
Seeing me like that, Naitsu-san puffed her cheeks and looked worried.
“Are you really okay after getting taken over by the Demon King? Oh, you poor thing.”
“I’m fine. And anyway, the one who worries about me the most is Mako-san.”
“Mako!? A new girl!? Who is she!?”
Naitsu-san panicked with her eyes wide as she looked around.
I shook my head and was fed up.
“She’s the Demon King.”
“Ah, you’ve been brainwashed by the Demon King! Big sister has to overwrite it with her own brainwashing!”
“That logic makes no sense!”
As if to stop Naitsu-san, who was coming at me with her unreasonable thinking, Cecily stepped forward.
In her hand, she held a strange-looking incense burner.
“Don’t worry. I brought incense that can drive away evil. This should work!”
Cecily proudly lit the incense.
At once, a sharp and unusual smell filled the closed room.
“Gwaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!”
In the next moment, both Cecily and Naitsu-san let out screams so loud they felt like they could break my ears, and they started rolling on the floor in pain.
I stared at them in shock.
This was supposed to be the secret weapon to defeat the Demon King, but neither I, the host, nor Mako-san inside me felt anything at all.
“What’s going on?”
“Maybe it works on people who have dirty thoughts.”
Mako looked down coldly at the two perverts rolling on the floor.
“I see. So that means you don’t have any bad thoughts about me, Mako-san.”
“O-Of course. You are my important host, after all.”
“Mako-san!”
I could feel Mako’s awkward kindness, even though she tried to hide her embarrassment.
It made me feel a warm bond between us.
At this point, I didn’t even feel like commenting on the fact that the former final boss was much more pure-hearted than the heroines.
