“Today was fun, wasn’t it? Nii-san.”

“U–Nnn”

“Let’s go again next time.”

“…yes”

Sakuragi-san and Karen crossed the fingers of my hand with theirs in a strangely seductive way.

All day long today, both of them kept stuck together in my either arms without even a moment’s rest. All because of the incident that took place earlier. Because of this, my heart was pounding loudly throughout the day.

The two had innocent faces, touching my hands, fingers, and stomach. Even when they would push their chest against me, having it felt by my very hands, I honestly thought that perhaps they were doing it on purpose. But then, when I started questioning as to what merit they would even gain by doing this, after all, I found that perhaps it was only me who was … 

Even during meals, Sakuragi-san and Karen’s gesture of “Aa~hn” perplexed me quite a bit all of a sudden.

“Ah, speaking of which, Nii-san.”

“What is it?”

“I don’t think it’s proper to keep calling Kaede, Sakuragi-san forever.”

Karen says so with her fingers entwined to mine and our hands clenched.

I’ve indeed become quite good friends with Sakuragi-san, though I still call her Sakuragi-san. After all that happened, it does feel a bit distant as such.

“Wouldn’t Sakuragi-san hate being called that?”

“I don’t…hate it, actually. Maybe I even want you to call me Kaede instead. Being called Sakuragi-san always, instead, makes me a little bit sad in the end.”

Sakuragi-san stares at me with an upturned gaze.

I’d like to call her Kaede, but if she were to stare at me like that with those beautiful upturned eyes, it becomes challenging to say that out loud.

“It’s Ka~E~De~, Yugao-kun.”

…. That’s it!

“Don’t you, Sakuragi-san, call me Yuugao-kun too, don’t you? I also want Sakuragi-san to call me by my first name, Sakura.”

“Eh, ah, eh!?”

Sakuragi-san suddenly lost all her previous poise. And even though she is trying to call out my name with her mouth, somehow, her mouth just opens and closes. Perhaps due to embarrassment, she seems unable to speak quite clearly.

“Sa-Sa-SH-Shy-SHYAKURA-kyun!!”

“You are stuttering quite a lot, Kaede.”

“BUT That’s!!!”

Sakuragi-san puffs out his cheeks and protests against Karen.

Seeing Sakuragi-san so embarrassed makes it relatively more manageable for me to say her name.

“Then how about it Sakuragi-san. Shall we say out our names together?”

“U–Unnn”

A few seconds pass by while looking down, completely embarrassed.

Perhaps she seems to have made up her mind or something like that, as she stares straight into my eyes after that.

“Here we go~.”

“Sakura-kun”

“Kaede”

Both of us called each other’s names at the same time.

It’s kind of refreshing to be called Sakura by Sakuragi-san.

“Sakura-kun, Sakura-kun!!”

Seeing Kaede excitedly calling out my name and having fun somehow even made me feel happy.

After that, before at last parting our ways from Kaede, I was continuously called by my name “Sakura-kun” an ample number of times.
