“Did Nii-san end up making breakfast for Today? These over here?”

“Uh, un. That’s about right.”

That’s what she said to me with a dumbfounded expression stuck on her face.

Perhaps it was that bad for me to make it after all? I always knew how I was prohibited by how much she hated having me do it every time. But was it really that bad after all…

“N-nii-san, why—why did you start making breakfast?”

“It’s all okay. I can never deny anything that Nii-san made thinking about me. Thank you for making it.”

As I loosened my arm, that was still hugging to get her and myself to eat breakfast. Perhaps getting a bit dissatisfied in the process, she instead hugged me tightly from her end this time.

“Let’s stay like this for a while more. It’s your punishment for making me worry this much.”

“I get it.”

“Please pat my head properly as well.”

While continuously stroking her head while being hugged tight by Karen.

Dozens of minutes later…

As expected, I also wanted to eat breakfast as well. When I let go of Karen forcefully, she looked a little displeased, but I said, “I guess this much is about fine,” and sat on the chair adjacent to the table.
