The Expelled, Oblivious Strongest Boy Saves an S-Rank Beautiful Female Adventurer and Unknowingly Forms a Harem - 7
Chapter 7: Liam Was Fascinated?

We finally found an inn after walking through the town for a while. We entered the inn and then approached the female elf innkeeper to talk about staying the night.
“Excuse me, are there any rooms available for us to stay for the night?”
“Certainly! We have plenty of rooms available! We can prepare two single rooms or one double room. Which would you prefer?”
“Two single roo—”
“Please wait, Liam-san.”
Just as I was about to finish my sentence, Lydia-san interrupted me. Then, she glanced at the innkeeper and spoke to her in my stance.
“Could you please tell me the cost for each of the two options you mentioned?”
Upon hearing Lydia-san’s question, the female innkeeper nodded and started explaining the general cost of the two options. To put it simply, getting two single rooms would be more expensive than simply getting one double room. After hearing the female innkeeper’s explanation, Lydia-san turned her attention back to me and said.
“Liam-san, I came here with only the bare essentials. After all, I was just planning to slain that dragon. I have very little money on hand right now and I’m also well aware you didn’t receive much money from the quest reward during your adventuring with your previous A-rank party. I believe it’s safe to assume that you and I are in a similar situation.”
“That’s… That is true, yes.”
I nodded my head. I couldn’t find it in me to shake my head. After all, Lydia-san was right. All of her words hit the mark. I really couldn’t argue with her.
“As of now, we don’t know when we will be able to take on quests and earn the reward money for it. I believe it is perilous if we both save our money as much as possible. Hence why, I think we should stay in a double room together tonight.”
“Me and Lydia-san…?! Sharing a room together…?!”
“Yes. Of course, if you really don’t want it, then I won’t force you…”
Lydia-san said the last part in a somewhat anxious and sad expression on her face.
I’m making Lydia-san feel anxious just because of my own shortcomings!
Feeling flustered by this realization, I quickly conveyed my honest thoughts to Lydia-san.
“N-No! It’s not that I don’t want to! I understand your points. It is definitely better to stay in a double room given our financial situation. Yes! Let’s stay in the same room tonight!”
“Thank you, Liam-san.”
And so, we agreed to take the double room. We received the key from the female innkeeper and entered the room together. There was a wooden table complete with chairs and a bed with soft, fluffy bedding. The room even came with an indoor bath.
“Amazing… The interior is completely different from the inn in human countries. The room here really gives off a refreshing feeling, huh?”
“Yes, it is.”
Feeling excited by the refreshing interior, I looked around the room. The room was decorated with decorations unique to the Elf Kingdom. After taking a look at everything, I finally sat down on the chair. Lydia-san then told me she had something she wanted to discuss with her. She ushered me to sit on the edge of the bed with her.
“So? What do you want to talk about, Lydia-san?”
Lydia-san seemed to hesitate. After a brief pause, Lydia-san then said in a somewhat nervous tone to her voice.
“…I want to talk about something that happened earlier today. You know, when you talked with that red-haired female elf who claimed she wanted to offer her guiding service to you?”
“Oh… The female elf that I talked to while I was waiting for you to have your armor repaired at the blacksmith?”
“Yes. If I may be blunt, to my eyes, you appeared to be fascinated by her. Like you were captivated by her… I’m sorry for being direct, by her body.”
“Wha-What?!”
I was fascinated by her?
“No, no. I-I wasn’t fascinated or captivated or anything like that—”
I tried to deny the accusation, but it was true that my gaze had wandered to a certain part of her body. This made me unable to finish my sentence. I remained quiet, letting Lydia-san continue her piece.
“I do have to say, she was very beautiful and her clothes left nothing to imagination. So I understand that a man like you, although you are a year younger than me, would be captivated by her beauty. In fact, it wouldn’t be strange for a stronger desire to sprout in you upon seeing someone like her. That is a purely natural physical phenomenon. I’m fully aware of that, but… I really don’t want Liam-san to direct those desires to someone like her.”
De-Desire?!
I felt my heart rate increasing significantly upon hearing Lydia-san’s completely unexpected words. However, Lydia-san seemed to be oblivious to my predicament. With a slightly flushed cheek, she placed her hand on the armor she was wearing and continued on.
“So, since you’ve helped me and you are also far stronger than me… If you need to relieve such desire from your body… I… I’m willing to—”
