Chapter 59: Liam, Making the Three of Them Happy

The moment I recalled what I had just done with Lydia-chan, my whole face flushed in red and I stumbled over my words. Meria-san immediately quipped.

I was at a loss for words again, not knowing what to say to Meria-san and Empress-san. But then, Lydia-san, who was standing beside me, spoke up. 

“Liam-san was only showing me his love and I was only responding back by loving him in return. We didn’t do anything weird. It was a perfectly natural reaction, so why are you two so upset?”

“Love… Well, I don’t mind that you and Liam-kun love each other, but you know! I also love Liam-kun. It’s not fair if you hog him all to yourself! That’s all.”

Empress-san nodded in agreement before she added. 

“Exactly. Liam is my man as well, so it would be troublesome if you were to monopolize him all to yourself. If you refuse to share Liam, then I will challenge you to a duel.”

“Very well. With the name Astoria at the stake, I shall accept-“

I interrupted Lydia-san mid-sentence since she was about to accept the duel. I stepped forward between all of them.

Grateful for Lydia-san’s warmth, I turned to the three of them and said my mind.

“Lydia-san, Meria-san,Empress-san… I care about the three of you a lot and I don’t want you to fight because of me. That’s why… I’ll make all three of you happy, so can we all be happy together?”

After I said that, Meria-san and Empress-san widened their eyes in surprise. After a brief pause, Meria-san then said. 

“…Can you really make the three of us happy all by yourself, Liam-kun?”

“Yes!”

Meria-san walked over to me. She linked her left arm with mine and with an amused smile on her face, she said again. 

“You’re going to have a long night tonight. Just so you know, one or two times won’t be enough for me.”

Empress-san also walked over to me.

Empress-san said with a small smile adorning her face as she linked her right arm with mine. Finally, Lydia-san came up to me. She hugged me gently from the front and spoke in a soft and kind voice. 

“It’s fine if you want to make the other two happy as well, but please don’t forget to love me properly too.”

“…! Yes…! I’ll make all three of you happy!!”

Sure, we would be facing many challenges ahead, but with all three of them by my side… I was confident I could overcome anything.
