Momentarily shocked by this new information, the Empress let out a faint aura of ice and lightning magic.

“Well, if you had done more than that in the arena, the audience might feel scared. Meria said and those words seemed to calm Empress a bit since she stopped emanating a terrifying magic aura from her body.

“I have to thank you for saying you’d help my country establish diplomatic relations with your country and I need to thank Liam for creating this incredible opportunity for us.”

“You don’t have to thank me and I’m sure Liam doesn’t want you to thank him for something like that either.”

“Indeed… As expected of my man and someone who has been with my man.”

The two were talking with each other while returning to the inn. They eventually arrived in front of their room. They opened the door and entered the room.

I asked that and Lydia-san smiled softly before she turned her body toward me.

Lydia-san placed her hand on my body. Her  cheeks were flushed a deep red color as she continued speaking.

Though I was embarrassed, but I quickly responded. After all, there was nothing more I could wish for. The most important thing was Lydia-san’s happiness after all. While we were lost in thoughts, Lydia-san then asked me in her sweet and yet gentle tone.

Lydia-san said as she hugged me. I then encircled my arms around her waist to hug her back.

“I’m sure we will face many things in our life from here onwards, but I, Lydia Astoria, will always be by your side. I will be sure to support you and love you. That fact will never change for eternity, so please. Don’t forget that.”

After that, Lydia and I shared another soft kiss. We continued to hold each other for a little while on the bed.
