Chapter 34: Liam, Wants a Threesome?

Wha-What should I do… In the first place,  both Lydia-san and Melia-san were far too beautiful for someone like me, but now they were asking me to choose between them… I just stayed there, utterly bewildered. I didn’t know what to do when Meria-san leaned closer to me. Her chest swayed ever so slightly as she did.

In response to Meria-san’s words, Lydia-san quickly raised her voice before she suddenly removed her armor, leaving her in just her white underwear top.

“Ly-Lydia-san?!?!”

Shocked by her sudden actions, I could only stare at her in shock.

“As Liam-san’s partner, I offer all of myself to you…. You already have me, so don’t let yourself be swayed by the allure of her body!”

But still, asking me to choose between them… How?? How could I possibly do that?

“I can’t possibly choose! Both of you are very kind and wonderful! There’s no way I can choose between you two!”

Despite my embarrassment, I opened my eyes and declared my honest feelings to them. Both of them widened their eyes in surprise. Now that I had explicitly confessed my honest feelings, maybe they would understand my point now…

I suggested, hoping I could defuse the situation somehow. Lydia-san then said.

“Indeed, considering the accumulated physical and mental fatigue from the fight at the greet tree, I think it might be wise to follow Liam-san’s suggestion for now.”

“Huhhhh?? But… Yeah, I guess you’re right. Liam-kun did heal the great tree today. I guess we can save this for another time.”

The promise of ‘another time’ felt a bit ominous, but we all agreed to sleep for the night. Each of us settled into separate beds in the same room. Spending time with Lydia-san and Meria-san could feel a bit overwhelming sometimes, but compared to when I was in Zayn-san’s party… I was feeling much much much much happier now. I really couldn’t be happier than this.

─The next morning.

“Good morning! Lydia-san! Meria-san!”

I greeted them cheerfully as soon as I woke up, noticing that the two of them were already up before me.

“Good morning, Liam-san.”

“…Good morning, Liam-kun.” 

The two of them greeted me back, but it seemed there was something strange going on with Meria-san. She seemed a bit off.

“Meria-san…? Is something wrong…?”

I asked, sensing something different about her. She didn’t seem like her usual self. She seemed less energetic, almost gloomy even. Upon hearing my question, Meria-san suddenly raised her voice.

“Of course something’s wrong! I was totally ready to do something naughty with you last night, but we couldn’t! And now I don’t know where to direct all these feelings!”

“W-What!?”

I was shocked to hear her sudden outburst. Lydia-san then turned to Meria-san and said in an exasperated tone. 

“Good grief. We all agreed yesterday that Liam-san must be tired after everything that happened with the giant tree, right?”

“But still! I bet you also wanted to do something with Liam-kun last night, right?! You must be feeling all weird too right now, right?!”

“…!!”

Seemingly flustered by Meria-san’s accusation, Lydia-san lowered her gaze and muttered softly.

“That’s… I’ve already accepted that maybe I don’t have enough charm as a woman. Maybe I’m not worthy enough for Liam-san…”

“W-Wait, hold on a second! I didn’t do anything with you two last night not because I didn’t find either Lydia-san or Meria-san not attractive….”

“I’m planning on going to the Demon Kingdom next.”

Upon hearing my answer, Meria-san exclaimed cheerfully. 

“That’s perfect! Of course, Liam-kun’s wish is the most important thing in my list, but I’ve been thinking of visiting the Demon Kingdom too!”

“Huh? Why is that?”

“You see, your former party members… Well, they don’t even deserve to be considered as Liam-kun’s former party members… Anyway! Didn’t they say something stupid like wanting to become the heroes of the demon race or something? Besides, only someone from the demon race could suddenly summon a horde of monsters right in the middle of the Magistus. After Meria-san aid that, the mood in the room shifted for a bit. In response to that, Lydia-san then said. 

‘indeed. We can’t tell when those ruffians might try to invade the Elf Kingdom again. It’s best to take the initiative before anything happens. What a wise choice.”

“I know, right?~ So? Why did you want to go to the Demon Kingdom, Liam-kun?”

“My original purpose for the journey was to train, since I was deemed lacking in strength when I was expelled from Zayn-san’s party. It seems there’s an event in the Demon Kingdom where the very strong Empress-san will fight the competitor in a one on one fight.”

“Lacking in strength… I really can’t believe those people had the nerve to say that to you, Liam-kun… Anyway!~ That event does sound fun!~”

Feeling happy that Lydia-san supported my thoughts, I said so cheerfully. Meria-san then said. 

“In that case, let’s start heading to the Demon Kingdom now!”

“Yes!”

“Very well.”

With that, we left the inn and immediately began preparing for our journey to the Demon Kingdom. Now that Meria-san had joined us, I was filled with excitement upon imagining the lively adventure awaiting our newly formed trio.
