Chapter 33: Liam, Which One Will You Choose?

After the battle around the giant tree had been concluded, we returned to our inn, which was located in the central part of Magistus city. Lydia-san and Meria-san were arguing over and over again regarding the room assignments, but eventually we all came to a conclusion that the three of us should stay in the same room instead. 

“I will go check if there are monsters lurking around or not.”

“Understood.”

“Thank you, Lydia-chan!~”

We both said so to Lydia-san before she left the room. Then, Meria-san turned up to me. She talked to me excitedly. 

“Goodness. Lydia-chan is really a good person! Although she can be honest to a fault, but she’s really reliable! She’s very kind and thoughtful in things like these!”

“Yes… It is really reassuring to know that someone like Lydia-san is taking the role of a knight in our party. After all, Lydia-san  is not only powerful but also strong on the inside.”

“Yeah, yeah! That’s right!~”

Meria-san nodded in agreement at my words and then, she plopped down next to me on the bed. 

“Liam-kun, oyu know… I’m really thankful to you for everything… If you hadn’t been here, the Elf Kingdom might have really perished for good.”

“Wha-What?! No, no! I just gave my magic power to the giant tree! In fact, it’s all thanks to you and Lydia-san! If you two hadn’t fought the monsters off, I wouldn’t have been able to channel my magic power to the giant tree!”

Indeed. I was the one who was feeling worried about what would’ve happened if the two of them hadn’t been here. The Elf Kingdom was still able to stand up straight like this thanks to the both of them. 

“That’s not true. If you hadn’t been here, the giant tree might have been destroyed right away by those guys. We would’ve been too preoccupied with the monsters to notice. The giant tree would be rendered defenseless. That’s why, I want to thank you, Liam-kun.”

“No, no! You really don’t have to! Besides, I didn’t heal the giant tree back to health because I was trying to extort any favor from you, Meria-san!

“Well then… How about this? There’s something I want to do for you. Something I genuinely want from my heart, not just because I want to thank you. Something I want to do with Liam-kun… What do you think, Liam-kun…?”

Huh…? Something that Meria-san wanted to do with me? 

“That’s…. What kind of thing do you want to do, Meria-san?”

“Well, how about if I show you instead? Say, Liam-kun… Can you lie down on this bed?”

…I didn’t want to accept it if she was doing it because she wanted to thank me, but if this was something Meria-san genuinely wanted to do, or to be precise, something she wanted to do with me, then I had no reason to refuse her. And so, I decided to lay down on the bed as per her instruction. 

“Li-Like this…?”

“Yeah, that’s right… And, next…”

Meria-san then positioned herself over me. She was looming over me, who was lying down on the bed. Then, she leaned down, effectively bringing her large chest close to my face. 

“Me-Meria-san?!”

“You see, we got interrupted by Lydia-chan last time, but like I said… If you’re a boy, of course you need to release your pent-up stress, right? It’s not good to let it accumulate, you know?”

“A-Accumulate..?! B-But it’s fine! I-I already told you I’m fine!”

I immediately remembered the embarrassing conversation we had before. Flustered, I tried to sit up and move away from the bed, but Meria-san was quick to grab both of my wrists and said. 

“Don’t run away~ This isn’t something I want to do for Liam-kun anymore. This has become something I WANT to do with you… Or… Liam-kun, do you not see me as a woman?”

Meria-san tilted her head to the side, causing her bountiful chest to bounce.

“The-There’s no way… I-I mean, Ly-Lydia-san is out patrolling, so… Do-Doing something like this while Lydia-san is busy patrolling is a…”

“Precisely. We wouldn’t be able to do this UNLESS Lydia-chan isn’t around…. Liam-kun, I—”

“I’ve finished patrolling. There were no signs of—WHA-!? Wh-What are you doing!?”

Just when Meria-san was about to say something, Lydia-san returned to the room. It seemed she had just finished patrolling and she immediately raised her voice upon seeing the sight before her. She rushed toward us, her expression was aghast. 

“Ly-Lydia-san?! Thi-This isn’t what it looks like! I—”

“Liam-san, could it be… Just like that woman said, are you really at your limit? Do you really can’t hold it in anymore?”

“Li-Like I said, it’s not like tha—”

But before I could finish speaking, Lydia-san interrupted me with her sweet, gentle voice. Her cheeks were a bit flushed for some reason. 

“Like I said before, you don’t have to deny yourself of those desires… If you really do have those desires, please direct them towards me… I will gladly respond positively to those feelings with my body.”

“Wait, Lydia-chan! I was going to go first!”

“I really can’t care less about that. Whether you were going to go first or not, it has nothing to do with me. Besides, I’m convinced Liam-san will choose me.”

Right after she said that, Lydia-san closed the distance between us even more. 

“Alright. Then, why don’t we ask Liam-kun? Liam-kun, who will you choose? Me or Lydia-chan?”

“Huh…? Hu-Huh…???”

Caught off guard by Meria-san’s question,who also inched closer to me, I let out a voice that was mixed with both confusion and shock.
