We charged into the town of Avan.

A little distance away, Ryukshu was battling a dozen soldiers. He swung a massive sword as tall as himself, cutting people in half.

Ryukshu and I entered Avan Castle through the broken gate, taking down soldiers as we encountered them.

Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed from the upper part of the castle.

It seemed Elsia couldn’t break through the defensive magic at the gate, so she started her assault from above.

At this rate, Elsia’s army will win.

“You won’t get past here, witch’s army!”

“Alright, Darkness Flame.”

“Arrrghhhhh!”

I burned the soldiers in my way with black flames.

“F-Forgive me, my lady…”

“My lady…?”

I caught the soldier’s dying words.

There is only one person in Avan Castle referred to as “my lady.”

…I’m curious to meet her.

“Oh, could it be this room?”

Eliminating the remaining soldiers, I found a promising-looking room.

I opened the door and entered.

“Don’t come any closer.”

“Oh?”

“If you come any closer, I’ll kill you, even if it means my own life.”

In the room stood a girl holding a dagger, radiating a murderous intent. She was a beautiful girl with long, light blue hair and dark blue eyes.

She seemed to be about thirteen or fourteen years old.

Compared to Elsia and Mana, her chest size was disappointing, but there was a slight hint of development.

She appeared expressionless and cool, but sweat was beading on her forehead.

I knew this girl.

“Misha von Avan, right?”

“!? …How do you know my name?”

“Well, why do you think?”

I guessed based on her resemblance to the game character, and it seemed I was right.

Misha is the sister of a target character in “The Saintess and the Five Heroes.” 

She often interfered with Elsia and her brother’s romance, playing the role of a villainess.

Like her brother, she attended the same magic academy in the royal capital as Elsia. Jealous of Elsia’s closeness with her brother, she resorted to petty harassment.

Elsia tried to laugh it off as childish behavior, but her strict brother did not.

Moreover, Misha’s secret plan to assassinate Elsia was uncovered.

Her brother reported everything to their father, resulting in Misha being expelled from the magic academy and forcibly brought back to their hometown, Avan.

To sum it up briefly:

Depending on the route in the game, Misha could come to admire Elsia as her “big sister,” so I can’t bring myself to dislike her. 

However, this Misha seems to hate Elsia.

She wouldn’t believe me if I said I knew her because she was a character in an otome game I played in my previous life, so I just nodded vaguely.

“So, what now? Are you planning to fight me to the death with that dagger?”

“It’s simple. I’ll kill you here, then kill that woman. Then my brother will notice me.”

“Oh, okay.”

She was a bit yandere in the game too, but her situation seems to have worsened since her punishment…
