The Case Where I Got into an All Girls-only Party via Cross-Dressing. But When They Found Out About it, Instead of Getting Immediately Kicked Out, Everyone Was Trying to Seduce Me. - Chapter 6
Chapter 6
Until Elise stopped crying, I continued to rub her back softly. Let’s listen to Elise’s concern from time to time, or so I thought. It’s not like I have any ulterior motives behind that! I’m definitely not a bad guy, not someone who would takes advantage of a girl’s heartbreak, okay? Yeah…
“I’ve calmed down a bit now. Thank you, Ariann.”
“If anything happens, feel free to talk to me. It’s not good to bear it all alone.”
“Yes, you are right. Please, let me depend on you from now on then.”
“…Nn. I will be in your care as well.”
Saying so, she took my hands. Her hand, which held and practiced the art of swordsmanship for so long, were calloused from wielding it. This is exactly why she is my trusted partner. As I was admiring her hands and her as a person, Elise, blushing slightly, spoke hesitantly.
“That’s right! I haven’t told the other members in the party yet; it seems that this time as my level increased, my aura of protection has become stronger than before.”
Saying so, she looked up at me with an expecting gaze. Then, she came and sat back down next to me.
“…Nn? What is it? You’re leaning your head towards me. What do you want from me?”
When I asked, she averted her gaze a little. Then, bashfully, she scratched her cheek.
She actually looks pretty embarrassed. It’s nighttime. And we are just under the moonlight. Alone on a bench by the roadside. Elise in front of me looked three times cuter than she normally does. With a sweet and needy voice, she acted in a way that I can’t even imagine coming from the usual Elise.
“You pat Mea’s head right, so why won’t you do it to me now?”
“Hue!? Y—You want me to do?”
“W-Well… ///”
Despite looking embarrassed, Elise let out an affirmative word. It can’t be helped. It’s beyond my control now. I hesitantly placed my hand on Elise’s head.
I could feel Elise’s warmth through my hand. She, on the other hand, wore a sloppy grinning expression which absolutely uncharacteristic of the normal Elise I know of. Even though she is a leader, she’s still a human, and a fellow girl. There are times when she wants to be spoiled. If I’m the one she entrusts to do that to her, it’s not only a sign of trust but also heartwarming for me as well.
After lightly patting her head, I removed my hand. If I keep doing this, I won’t be able to make rational decisions anymore.
“Thank you. I feel like I can do my best again from tomorrow.”
Elise took my hand and brought it to her cheek before letting go. She then looked away from me, gazing towards an empty street.
“I am glad if I was able to make you feel even a little better. Shall we head back? It’s already late at night, and it might not be safe for two girls to be out alone.”
“You’re right! Well, I am 100% sure that I won’t lose to any guy around here, though. Ahaha.”
Saying that, Elise laughed. ‘But still, we’re both girls!’ I thought about emphasizing that, but then decided against it, as being overly conscious can make things troublesome.
We walked slowly along the beautifully lit street. As it was becoming crowded, I could tell we were entering a residential area now. It seemed like everyone was a bit more cheerful and excited because it was the weekend night. Then, Elise murmured in a voice too soft for me, let alone anyone else to hear.
(“…If you were a boy, would you accept my first love?”)
I felt like she said something, but when I asked her back, Elise denied saying anything overall. Maybe it was just my imagination. She glanced at me for a moment before looking at the full moon again, faintly smiling.
It truly was a beautiful full moon today.
Meanwhile, it seemed that Mirai and Mea were… too preoccupied to even look at the moon.
“I feel terrible ugh, uuwwo— I feel sick…”
“W-Wait. Don’t puke here, okay? Hey, are you listening!?”
“Ah, this is just —really bad.”
“HEYYYYYY!?”
Looks like they had their own set of troubles to worry for.
