The Case Where I Got into an All Girls-only Party via Cross-Dressing. But When They Found Out About it, Instead of Getting Immediately Kicked Out, Everyone Was Trying to Seduce Me. - Chapter 20
Chapter 20
As usual, the Adventurers Guild was bustling, but today there was even more excitement than before. The reason behind that was more than obvious though. It was because, even though it was one of the few Silver-ranked parties here in the rural town, yet, that same extremely popular party was now getting it’s new member after all. Looking at everyone at a glance, I can see the amount of curious onlookers, eager to catch a glimpse of how it’s going to turn out all in all.
As for the person herself, Kayla; I thought she would be seem nervous, but that was not the case at all. According to her, “I am already used to being looked at.” or something like that. Well of course, being cute would naturally attract attention and make people take quick glimpses of you, but realizing just how many people had been watching her till now, made me feel a bit uneasy and fuzzy inside.
As I scanned the bustling guild to find my companions, I heard a lively voice coming from behind. It was probably Mea. Thinking that, when I turned around, it seems that all the three of them were already present and prepared there.
“A–, Ariann! Good morrninng!”
Saying that, Mea forcefully slapped my shoulders. I somehow feels like her greeting slaps are getting stronger and stronger each passing day though. Following Mea, the other two also joined us. Elise stood beside me, and as she noticed Kayla, she bowed her head slightly.
“So she’s the person Ariann had mentioned. I am the Leader of the party, Elise. Nice to meet you.”
“I’m Kayla, Ariann’s friend. Please take care of me from here on.”
“Nice to meet you too. Well then, let’s sit down and talk for a bit.”
On response to Elise’s voice, everyone in the party sat down on a bench together. Mea seemed oddly tense. Sitting besides me were Kayla and Mea, but Mea, I don’t know why but she was behaving flustered while softly calling my name with a worried expression on her face.
“Ariann, why I had never heard this from you. Just what’s up her. This mega cute girl?”
“Tell that to her yourself. She’d probably feel a lot happy.”
“As if I can tell that, you idiot. I would look like a con-girl if I do that.”
As we bantered sneakily, Elise and Kayla were giving us stern looks. It seemed like they wanted us to shut up right now. Mea straightened her back, acting like a scolded child looking at that.
“Let’s get to the point. Can I ask what Kayla’s profession is?”
Elise had her nervousness visibly showing off, behaving awkwardly that I hadn’t seen before from her. Why is she so nervous? She should be just be as friendly like she usually is. As I was thinking that, Mirai, who was also having the same thought as mine, sitting next to Elise, nudged her shoulder to be more attentive.
“Hey, Elise. Why are you acting like an interviewer? Can’t you be more friendly instead? She’s going to be our teammate from now on. Come on now, haven’t we already discussed this while we were on the way here.”
“B-But st–ill… It still makes me nervous.”
Saying that, Elise holds her head in dismay. Kayla sent me a glance. ‘Can’t you do something about it?’ Still, should I really intervene here and ruin the chance for everyone to get along….
While I was contemplating, Mea suddenly shouted, “Kayla-chan, you’re so cute! Just too cute!”
“Hue?! W-What are you saying…///”
As she said that, Kayla’s hand immediately grabbed mine. Probably getting taken aback by that sudden development, Kayla let out a rather pitiful voice in fluster. I kind of don’t want any yuri developments happening in front of me if possible. Since I might end up as someone going to get stuck between those yuri development (physically). When she was taking her chair slowly behind me and taking distance, Elise, who was sitting in front of us, drank her water in one gulp also blurted out.
“Y-Yeah, it’s just like what Mea said. Sorry, We thought, if you end up running away from us, we might be in a huge trouble.”
“We were trying to act mature because of that. And then on top of that, you happened to be an unexpectedly exceptionally outstandingly beautiful girl. Which made my nervousness doubleup, you see?”
“I see, so that’s how it was. Especially since there are already few scouts to begin with. What if we’re started to be seen as a no-good party…”
Saying that, Elise dived into Mirai’s chest. Nope, I can say for sure, the way you are right now is way more pathetic instead. Seeing their pathetic self, when I almost thought that she, Kayla might have become completely naked in front of them, immediately calmed down relatively quickly, and inadvertently spoke up.
“Isn’t the current situation more pathetic instead?”
“”Guha!!””
Elise and Mirai were dealt a critical hit. Kayla had a look of ‘My bad’ on her face and started to apologize. While Elise and Mirai raised their heads with expressions of regret, Mea instead happily giggled and said,
“She’s the retorting character! I really thought something was missing in this party. Everyone in this party is just playing the fool in one way or another, right? That’s why I thought a character like her was really necessary.”
“Nope, wasn’t it you, Mea-san, who derailed the conversation in the first place?”
“Guha!!”
Mea flopped onto the table like she’d been shot. As I giggled softly underneath at Kayla’s so accurate retort, I went on to intervene and stop her.
“Come on, let’s calm down now, Kayla. Aren’t our members interesting?”
“In the first place, Ariann, please introduce me to your party member properly.”
“Guha!”
Even I got caught up in it. Looking at how eevryone except Kayla had flopped onto the table, as for the reactions of the onlookers…
“That’s surely a promising newcomer.”
“I don’t know about her skills, but her looks are insane.”
“Is that so? I can’t take my eyes off Ariann-san, who’s lying faced-down on the table though.”
Oi, you’re still here!? My hardcore fan?! If he found out that I’m actually a guy,
I might really get killed.
[TL: Killed as a man. I don’t wanna translate BL. Ugh]
