The Case Where I Got into an All Girls-only Party via Cross-Dressing. But When They Found Out About it, Instead of Getting Immediately Kicked Out, Everyone Was Trying to Seduce Me. - Chapter 17
Chapter 17
I noticed a golden-haired lady sitting elegantly on the edge of a chaise lounge at the church. That lady looked truly so picturesque.
“Elise! You’ve become all better now, right!.”
Mea approached Elise happily. As if like her child. It feels like such a touching reunion, like, between a parent and her child… It such a tear-jerker…
As I was thinking that, Mea slowed down her pace and looked at me.
“Eh? Ariann. Somehow, I feel like, are you thinking something rude?”
“I-I wasn’t thinking anything like … More importantly, you should go to Elise already.”
“Eh–heh… Well, even if do, I am all fine with it though, Elise!”
Mea mustered up her determination again and ran toward Elise, hugging her tightly.
Is it even permissible for me as a party member to do the same? Should I also I run and join them? Is it really okay if I go?
Unlike me, Mirai had a blissful expression on her face. As expected of the mother figure of this party. As I was having such thoughts, Elise, with a serious expression contrasting to my whimsical thoughts, started speaking.
“…I’m sorry. I rushed too ahead in the dungeon. Even though I am a leader who should be guiding everyone alongside, yet I ended up holding all of you back. I’m disqualified/incapable to be the leader.”
Her face looked like she could cry out right now itself. Mea, who was hugging her, looked worried as she told that. I’ve said what I wanted to in the dungeon already, so now it’s up to everyone else on how they will take this as.
As I observed their actions, assessing them from a bird’s eye view, it was Mirai who spoke first. Her tone wasn’t particularly aggressive, but her voice had a transparent firmness to it.
“Elise, from my end, if you’re genuinely reflecting and willing to change from now on, then it’s all fine with me. What I want to discuss is how we’ll handle things moving ahead from now. Besides, we also didn’t notice the trap either.”
“That’s right, it’s really fine, Elise?”
Mea, perhaps worried about her own lack of eloquence, didn’t say anything more than that, riding on Mirai’s words itself. Maybe she thought it was best for her. Rather than words, she pressed her face showing confidence on her, Elise, instead. I guess she was being kind in her own way.
“Well, everyone seems to be on board… Leader? I want Elise to recover her spirits also. We’ll follow Elise no matter what happens just so you know.”
“Ev-everyone… you’re all shyo kind…”
Elise shed large tears off her eyes. She was probably holding back, because she’s the leader and all. Mea hastily took out a handkerchief from her chest and wiped her tears.
“Everyone’s just too kind, it’s okay to get angrier on me. I did something selfish after all.”
“What is this? Do you want to be scolded that badly? In that case, I can lecture you for an hour as well?”
Saying so, Mirai laughed. Perhaps realizing it was a joke, Elise smiled shyly and hugged Mea in front of her, saying loudly enough for everyone to hear.
“Please shtop~.”
While doing such silly things, once Elise calmed down a bit, we headed to our usual tavern. As always, this place welcomed us with open arms. It seemed like the others around us were congratulating us on clearing our first silver-level quest. And not a single one in the tavern was missing.
I heard later from before. It seems that parties who reaches silver rank often take on quests beyond their abilities and end up getting wiped out as a result of that.
It’s disadvantageous for all-female parties like ours to share information with other parties because, well, all-female parties are few in numbers to begin with. So, should I take a proactive approach? I don’t want to, you know.
Elise, after sitting at our usual table, gave her usual cheerful shout. It was reassuring that her usual energy had returned.
“First of all, let’s cheers for our safe return!”
“””Yay!”””
After leading a rough cheer, Mea brought up the topic of our future adventures. It’s clear that, after such a thing happened, and still we’re not adequately prepared in future, is already a no go.
“There’s a spot/position we are missing in our team, aren’t we?”
She may look cute, but she’s a good little girl-chan who can analyze our present state and information well. The ones who understood what she meant was me and Mirai. Those who didn’t udnerstand would probably be Elise though. Well, she’ll understand as we go on with our talks.
“You mean a scout. We lack knowledge of the dungeon a lot. Traps, terrain, and even checking the safety of treasure chests at that…”
“Exactly that, Mirai. So I think we need to bring in specialized roles for the dungeons going forward from now on. Don’t you think so, Elise?”
“Indeed, that’s correct. I also think so.”
Elise immediately nodded in acceptance. It’s doubtful if she fully understood the thing we spoke of, but still she understood that the necessity of such personnel is undeniable. I judge such a situation in a good light. Mostly because, in such case we can talk and find the correct direction we want to walk towards for the same.
While my face was brimming with enthusiasm, in contrast everyone else looked gloomy. Which means that, all had some sort of past that hey had reflected upon.
“Hey see, Pure White Dove is recruiting scouts it seems. Should I volunteer?”
“Oi, if you leave us, our party will fall apart.”
“But, being able to join that party is a rare opportunity. It’s a harem.”
It’s because the number of guys who start scheme like this appear like carried here by wind. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the number of people who hold the position of scout are small. It’s very rare. Because you can’t make a living alone with that. Another reason is, there are even fewer female scouts at that.
They fact that these girls understand that very well, is the casue why their expressions seem somewhat tense/stiff right now.
“Well, truthfully, I don’t want to add in a man into the group, but guess it can’t be helped can it?”
“We can’t exchange our lives for that after all.”
“But I’d still prefer someone sincere though…”
Halfway through, since the mood was turning into a that of a resignation, I decided to extend a helping hand to them. Moreover, wouldn’t it really bad if they found out that I’m a man…?
“I have someone I know. A girl scout candidate that is.”
When I said that, the expressions of the people in the tavern changed drastically. From a cheerful atmosphere to a funeral mood. And our party had regained their lost vigor.
“C–can we really look forward to that?”
All three leaned forward towards me on the table.
“Well, probably?”

And so, I found myself bowing my head to the maid holding a broom in her hand.
“And so you’re trying to lend me out them like this?”
I bowed my head even deeper. Kaela sighed heavily looking disgusted at me.
