It Makes Me Angry That He Has Another Girl in His Mind

Me and Iko wander around to see what to eat for lunch…that awkward atmosphere is now gone, but neither of us can think much to talk about…

Not this, not that, I ate ramen yesterday…after wondering what to eat for a while, we arrive at a small coffee shop. Perhaps because there is a famous restaurant chain nearby, there are not a lot customer here. I think there are only one or two customers as I look inside.

I open the door slowly, and the doorbell rings.

The relaxing atmosphere of the coffee shop and the cool breeze from the air conditioner gave me a sigh of relief. As I expected, there are only a couple of customers inside.

There is no one to guide us near the entrance, so we go to the back of the store.

When we take our seats, the girl who was standing at the counter brings us cold drinks and a menu list.

Both me and Iko are surprised at the girl’s words.

I see, the reason why she was smiling to us earlier is because she thought we are a couple.

The girl left the menu after saying so and went back to the counter. I think she was laughing at us when she left. I’m sure she was laughing because of our reaction earlier.

“Fuu, thank you for the food. I didn’t know there is such a delicious restaurant here…”

I ordered a pork cutlet sandwich and onion soup. Iko ordered a Neapolitan.

The food was really delicious. It seems that my hunch is right, the food in a restaurant with a beautiful woman tastes good.

“Excuse me for a minute.”

“Yeah, go ahead.”

Iko stands up from her seat. Grandpa told me that it’s better to not ask where a girl is going after she eats. It’s either going to the ladies’ room or a phone call.

The coffee and food here are really delicious…I should come back here another time.

When I return from the restroom, I find Touya and the waitress, who looks good in an apron, having a pleasant conversation about something. Me and Touya are the only ones at the shop right now.

Ah, I forgot. This guy is popular. If he’s popular at school, he must be popular wherever he goes as well.

I did say that I will wait for his answer to my confession. I’m happy that he is so preoccupied with me, I’m happy that he is worried about me and our relationship, that’s why I decided that our relationship will stay the same for the while.

I got really pissed off and walk quickly back to my seat.

“Oh, friend-chan, welcome back.”

Friend…huh? I guess Touya told her about the misunderstanding of our relationship.
