Chapter 69: I Don’t Need Muscles
The pain of heartbreak surprisingly fades away quicker than one would expect.
Yosuke was no exception.
Although he had been emotionally devastated after seeing the girl he liked entangled intimately with a guy he had looked down upon, time did heal his wounds, albeit not completely.
“…”
When he went to school after a long time, his friends were concerned about him.
Although he was genuinely touched and felt sorry for causing them worry, the sight of a couple at the corner of his eye cast a shadow over Yosuke’s heart once again.
(…Who is that guy?)
Even so, he was taken aback when he saw the transformed Arashi Gundo
They were holding back on the physical affection due to being in the classroom, but their level of closeness looked like they had been together for many years. Yosuke wondered what that was all about.
That very question was something only those who were not privy to their circumstances would ask, and an answer would remain elusive unless explicitly shared.
“Damn it.”
Jealousy started to well up within him as he watched them.
Whether it was considered unmanly or stubborn, he couldn’t help but regret that his feelings hadn’t reached her.
Moreover, lately, he’s been having a certain dream.
“Yosuke, I really like you. Shall we stay here together, forever?”
In the dream, Shirayuki would ask him this question. She’d say it with a seductive aura that was unlike her, wearing an expression he didn’t recognize.
However… it felt like the Shirayuki in that dream was not looking at him but someone else. Regardless, Yosuke continued to dream of her without letting that bother him.
“….Sigh”
He hadn’t fully given up on Shirayuki. Above all, it was frustrating that someone he had never even considered a threat had stolen away his beloved childhood friend.
(It’s all his fault… all of it is his fault.)
When he thinks of Arashi, his eyes naturally drift to the cutter placed on the desk.
“Killing him with this would set everything back to normal…” Such an absurd thought crossed his mind, but he didn’t have the courage to act on it.
Even though Yosuke was unhinged due to Shirayuki, he could still manage some degree of self-control.
Perhaps this restraint stemmed from his cowardly nature that couldn’t commit such a heinous act. Still, there was certainly a sense of understanding that some things just shouldn’t be done.
“I can’t accept this… Damn it… I’ll never accept it.”
Seeing her absolute trust in Arashi, he understands that she will never come back to him. But not being able to accept that is his only form of resistance.
Interestingly enough, Shirayuki probably anticipated that he would not take any drastic actions.
Given her circumstances, it’s understandable if she finds this inaction uninteresting. In some sense, Yosuke’s cowardice was what had saved him.

“…A trip, huh?”
“What’s the matter?”
After dinner, I was looking through a magazine.
It was filled with recommended travel destinations, and I had picked it up from the table on a whim.
“I was just thinking that traveling might be nice.”
Ever since I started spending time with them, I’ve been happy, of course, but we never actually went on a trip anywhere. That’s what led me to look at this magazine as a means of creating memories.
“Traveling does sound good. We’ve never really ventured far, have we?”
“True, I’ve been so happy just being together like this that I never felt the need to ask for more.”
I nodded, agreeing with that sentiment.
It was just a thought, but the conversation eventually turned into plans for an actual trip, thanks in part to Shirayuki and Hisui giving their opinions.
“I’m going to the restroom for a bit.”
“Sure.”
“Take your time.”
When the softness and warmth I felt on my arm slipped away, the sensation was overwhelming—it felt as though half of me had vanished.
Lately, this feeling has become more pronounced. I find myself chuckling at how much I’ve come to fit into Shirayuki and Hisui’s plans. I wonder, with a mix of apprehension and excitement, how much more they’ll influence me in the years to come.
“Fufu, you’re becoming more and more like what we had envisioned, aren’t you?”
“Well, it was bound to happen.”
“That’s good. We’ll pull you in even deeper, okay?”
Ever since the scavenger hunt at the sports festival, Hisui has been in a particularly good mood.
While I’ve always seen Hisui as a motherly figure in relation to Shirayuki, I’ve also told her she feels more like an older sister in her twenties to me. So, the recent changes aren’t particularly surprising.
“Oh, right!”
“What is it?”
Hisui suddenly remembered something, clapping her hands together.
What she told me next was shocking in every sense and made me realize that I was no longer bound by anyone.
“It looks like your biological parents are getting a divorce.”
“What?”
“I had an opportunity to speak with his boss for work reasons and heard various details.”
“I see.”
“I did my own research as well. His wife has been persistently questioning why he’s doing nothing about Hououin, along with the fact that their son has been acting out since the breakup—it seems like it’s all culminating to a breaking point.”
“…”
To be honest, I had predicted that once the gears stopped turning in that family, things would quickly fall apart.
The idea of my former family disintegrating without my knowledge evokes neither sadness nor joy. I was only surprised, which probably means that I no longer care about them.
“Well, things are probably going to get messy. It’s something to watch, but they no longer have the luxury to bother you anymore. Though you should be cautious of any lingering resentment.”
“…”
In this situation, saying ‘I didn’t do anything’ probably wouldn’t cut it. In the end, from their perspective, none of this would’ve happened if I hadn’t changed— if I hadn’t met Shirayuki and Hisui.
The family falling apart, my brother breaking up with his girlfriend, my mother losing her temper… There’s no doubt that my actions set these events in motion.
“Such a hassle. But that’s all it is—I don’t care.”
“Right… oh!”
Deciding to stop overthinking, I leapt onto Hisui.
I pushed her down onto the sofa and lay on top of her.
I could do this thanks to having slimmed down, but it’s mainly because she would never refuse me that I indulged in this act. It’s become somewhat of a trend for me lately.
I do the same thing to Shirayuki, but if I had to choose who exudes overwhelming motherly love, it would be Hisui.
“You’ve gotten lighter, Touma-kun.”
“Right? But I’ve also gained some muscle.”
“That’s true. Both Shirayuki and I have been working out with you, so our stomachs have gotten a bit firmer. But our breasts are still as soft as ever♪”
“Please, let’s keep them that way. I want them to remain soft.”
“Of course. Neither of us plans to go that far, and given our level of exercise, it’s not a concern. So don’t worry.”
“Got it.”
If that softness were to disappear, then who needs muscles!
Wait, can women’s breasts actually become firm from muscle? I’ll have to look it up before going to sleep.
These were the thoughts running through my mind as I lay sandwiched between Hisui’s breasts.

The end is near!
