The Case of Me, a Guy With Zero Dating Experience, Getting Mistaken for a Stalker by the Angel I Fell for at First Sight, Only to End Up Living Together With Her in a Harem Share House With a 1:9 Gender Ratio - Chapter 10: Filing a Report
Chapter 10: Filing a Report
Past 8 a.m., Yuuki accompanied Sakura to the police box near the station.
Despite the busy morning hour, a young officer listened to Sakura’s story earnestly.
His name tag read “Kurahashi.”
“I see, so you’ve been experiencing stalker incidents almost weekly recently.”
“Yes, that’s right.”
Sakura answered in a small voice.
“Where were you followed from and to?”
“From Hakurindai Station to the share house.”
“How far is that distance?”
“It’s about an eight-minute walk, so maybe 700 meters.”
“How many times have you been followed so far?”
“Yesterday was the seventh time.”
“What specific harm did you experience last night?”
Hearing the officer’s question, Sakura’s face paled, as if the events of yesterday flashed back.
“Um… she was grabbed by the arm from behind.”
Seeing Sakura struggle to answer, Yuuki spoke on her behalf.
“I see… grabbed by the arm…”
Officer Kurahashi wrote in the report and turned to Yuuki.
“Pardon me, are you the victim’s boyfriend?”
Officer Kurahashi asked Yuuki.
“N-No, I’m not. We’re residents of the same share house.”
“I see… Understood… Lately, there have been many reports of molesters and perverts around Hakurindai Station, so please be very careful.”
“R-Really?”
Yuuki was surprised by Officer Kurahashi’s words.
“So, make sure to protect her well.”
“Yes, understood.”
Yuuki’s heart skipped a beat at the word “her.”
Officer Kurahashi accepted the report and promised to increase patrols from the station to the share house in the evenings.
“Good… This should make things a bit safer.”
“Yes, thanks to you, Yuuki-san. Thank you so much.”
Sakura finally regained her smile.

The universities Yuuki and Sakura attend are about a 40-minute one-way trip from the share house—walking, train, then walking again.
Yuuki’s university and Sakura’s are next to each other, so the distance from the share house is nearly the same.
Thus, Yuuki, sharing the same commute, is the perfect bodyguard for Sakura.
Today, Sakura wore a white blouse and a lemon-yellow pleated skirt.
Yuuki walked cautiously, keeping an eye on their surroundings.
Sakura stayed close, following his lead.
To onlookers, he must have looked like a boyfriend escorting his girlfriend.
Both walked silently, hyper-aware of each other.
Lacking common topics made it awkward.
Having only become housemates a few days ago, they barely knew each other.
Plus, neither had dating experience, making it even more so.
Yuuki tried a safe topic with Sakura.
“Where are you from, Sakura-san?”
“I was born and raised in Akita.”
Yuuki nodded, understanding why Sakura was a quintessential Akita beauty.
“What are you studying at university?”
“I-I’m majoring in piano.”
Sakura said she’s a first-year at Seisho Gakuen Women’s University, in the music department’s piano course.
“Wow, so you’re good at piano…”
“Yes, my mother’s a piano teacher, so I’ve been playing since I was little.”
Her father is a high school music teacher, and her mother runs a piano studio at home; born into a musical family as an only daughter, she was raised strictly.
She started piano and ballet at age four; she quit ballet in her second year of high school but wants piano to be her lifelong pursuit.
She attended a prestigious girls’ school with integrated middle and high school education, living a routine of home, school, ballet, and piano practice for six years.
Truly a certified sheltered young lady, raised in a controlled environment.
Sakura has a kind grandmother who turned 77 this year.
Her grandmother adores her dearly, and Sakura loves her gentle grandma.
When deciding her path, Sakura told her parents she wanted to attend Seisho Gakuen Women’s University for its piano program and live alone.
Her mother supported her, but her father vehemently opposed her living alone.
Her grandmother became her ally, persuasively reasoning with her stubborn father.
Gradually, he softened, finally agreeing to let her live alone if she met five conditions:
① Live in a women’s dorm or women-only housing.
② Have access to a soundproof room for piano practice.
③ Study diligently and graduate university.
④ Return home three times a year (New Year’s, Golden Week, summer break).
⑤ Call home once a week.
The biggest challenge was finding women-only housing with a soundproof room.
Sakura and her mother scoured properties near the university, eventually finding a share house.
It required an interview with the female owner, had only female residents including the manager, and included a soundproof piano practice room.
That was Venus Lounge.
Hearing this, Yuuki finally understood how she ended up living in the share house.
“Can I talk a bit about myself?”
Yuuki began sharing his story slowly.
“I’m from Sapporo. My dad’s a company employee, my mom works part-time at a supermarket—a totally normal family.”
Yuuki smiled and continued quietly.
“I had an older brother, who was supposed to marry Asuna-san. But… four years ago, he died in a traffic accident, so now I just have a sister in her third year of high school.”
He mentioned he’s a second-year in Seijo University’s Information Engineering Department.
He’s part of the Travel Research Club.
“Yuuki-san, do you like traveling?”
“Yeah, I go on trips two or three times a year. I’ve been abroad three times too.”
“Wow, that’s cool. I want to try traveling too.”
Sakura said she’s only traveled with family as a child.
By the time they reached the university, chatting like this, they’d grown comfortable enough to talk normally.
Since they’d return together, they exchanged phone numbers and added each other on LINE.
“I’ll be here at 3:30.”
“Yes, Yuuki-san, I’m counting on you for the way back.”
They parted at the main gate of Seisho Gakuen Women’s University, heading to their respective campuses.
