Also, I got to experience fishing for the first time ever.  It was truly a refreshing and enjoyable experience. At first, I was only looking at El’s face because the fish weren’t biting. But then, the fish finally bit the bait!  The sensation of the rod shaking when the fish caught the bait, the feeling of catching a live fish… I wanted to go fishing with El again.

Nonetheless, silky emerald green hair and a pretty face that could make any girl jealous… His beautiful blue eyes, a mix of pale green and pale blue… I could feel myself drawn into his beautiful orbs… I wanted to keep looking at them. When I stared at El, my heart beat so fast but the rhythm felt pleasant. I still didn’t know why my heart would beat like that though.

When I was with El, I got to experience so many new things. Like the time when I wiped the miso off El’s mouth and ate it…. ARGHHH!! What was I doing?! I felt embarrassed thinking about it now!! Why did I do that?! I-It must be El’s fault… Yes! It was because El had miso on their mouth! Everything was El’s fault… Right.

After spending a lot of pleasant time together, it was inevitable that I cried when we had to part. Of course, my reaction was justified. I still wanted to stay with El, but since El promised he’d come to visit me in the royal capital soon… I guess I should just wait for him to come to me. Still… I didn’t expect Princess Miria would personally come to meet El and an engagement no less… If El was to be engaged, of course he’d be engaged to me… Wait…Engagement meant marriage, right? Chapter 27: Huh…? Isn’t She a Bit Too Close?

“El-sama! Where are we headed today?”

Leila asked while she clung tightly to my arm. Somehow, the sense of distance between us had disappeared. Right. When did she start calling me ‘El-sama’ anyway? Well, it was a good thing to see her looking all bright and smiling like this. A smile was the perfect fit for a girl’s face after all!

Leila had been acting like this ever since she reunited with her mother, Kaira-san. I guess she was just so overjoyed that she got to meet her mother again. I mean, there was no way she wouldn’t. I could tell that she was always thinking about Kaira-san. It was good that we were able to find her somehow, but I still felt guilty that it took us this long to find Kaira-san. 

That being said, since they had finally reunited, I planned on arranging a place for them to live together, but for some reason, they both refused. Now, both of them were working at my estate, even though I already told them that they didn’t really need to work for me. 

“El-sama? Are you thinking about something?”

“Huh? Oh, I was just thinking how nice it is to see your smile. Your smile is cute and looking at it comforts my heart.”

“E-El-sama… F-For you to say something like that…”

Hm…? I knew it! There was something strange about her! This reaction was different from the one she used to give to me!

In the end, I was left with no other choice but to take my bath together with all of them. I was still five years old so there was no problem but… If I left this be, it’d become a problem for sure. I needed to do something….

I couldn’t afford standing naked in the changing room forever, so I immediately headed to the bath….And as I expected, they didn’t allow me to wash my own body. After washing up, I finally soaked into the bath.
