On that day, the world was to be enveloped in a great frenzy.

It might seem like a bit of an exaggeration, but one look at the number of people gathered in the empire from today would make that clear.

And Rosalynde, watching the crowd from a high vantage point, was also bubbling with excitement. 

As the ruler of the empire, she had duties such as giving speeches, but she generally aimed to center the event around Kanata. This was because Rosalynde herself genuinely wanted to enjoy the event. She was a true fan of Haishin, and well, some of her subordinates were blown away by seeing a side of her they normally didn’t get to see.

“Now show us, Haishin. Let us engrave this day from this place into our hearts… Hey!”

“When does it start? Hasn’t it started yet?”

“Please wait a little longer. Your Majesty, please stay calm.”

“How can I be calm, fool?”

It seemed that the emperor, Rosalynde, was the most restless of all.

Meanwhile, it appeared that the preparations were complete—there were many people present, as mentioned before. Dignitaries from various countries were also in attendance, underscoring the high level of interest in this event.

Rosalynde’s attention was on a custom camera.

This camera, significantly modified by Kanata for the event, was designed to broadcast it to the entire world.

While it was more the result of a goddess’s quick thinking rather than Kanata’s alone, this device allowed those not present to enjoy live footage of the event.

“Ah, it’s finally starting, Your Majesty.”

“Has he arrived?”

The once bustling crowd quieted down.

Sparks flew from the stage set up for the occasion, and silver confetti danced in the air… then he appeared, Kanata, transformed into the figure of Haishin.

“Yo! Kept you all waiting, huh? I’m here~!!”

At Kanata’s voice, the crowd was whipped into a frenzy once more. 

Amidst calls of “Haishin, Haishin,” and the sound of cheering, there were also women clutching their foreheads, overwhelmed by the moment.

(…What’s this, isn’t it a bit too much?)

Kanata, who had been extremely nervous, found himself calming down a bit upon seeing some of the crowd’s reactions. He looked out at the gathered people from behind his mask.

So many… overwhelmingly so. Having never been in front of such a large crowd, he was struck by the enormity of the scene, reminiscent of streamers from his previous life making appearances at events.

(There were streamers who got nervous and couldn’t talk properly… I see, this can indeed be overwhelming.)

Kanata felt a storm of enthusiasm, emotion, and excitement directed solely at him.

He stood alone on the stage, while Mira and Anise, who were acting as guards, along with Fest and other soldiers who had joined hastily, stood off to the side.

“It’s really wonderful♪”

“…I could die happy.”

“Haishin-samaaaaaaah! Waaaaaaaah!!”

It was Anise, Fest, and Mira, in that order… but, guys, please do your jobs properly.

(It seems like I’m hearing voices from places I shouldn’t be… but I need to focus on what’s in front of me.)

After taking a moment to survey the crowd once more, Kanata raised his hand smoothly. 

The people instantly fell silent, as if waiting for his next words… Ideally, exaggerated gestures and words might be better to hype up the crowd. However, Kanata’s first words were those of gratitude towards everyone who had made the event possible and those who had gathered.

“First off, I’m thrilled that we’ve all come together for this day. I want to thank everyone from the empire, starting with Emperor Rosalynde, everyone present here, and those watching through the stream—everyone.”

Kanata bowed slightly. 

This gesture elicited murmurs of surprise and confusion from many, but for Kanata, expressing gratitude was only natural.

“Thank you.”

His voice carried a multitude of emotions. Unlike the confident tone usually heard in his streams, these words of thanks were released from a place of utmost calmness. After bowing his head in silence for a while, Kanata raised it, signaling the beginning.

“I hereby declare the start of the event! Everyone, please enjoy yourselves today!”

With that, a great cheer erupted once again.

“This is my first time hosting such an event, so there might be some rough edges, but please overlook them just for today! Now, let’s get into today’s lineup!”

With a snap of his fingers, a banner detailing the day’s program unfurled.

“First up, we’ll kick things off with some in-depth talk about the event, followed by a live streaming segment where I’ll show you how I usually conduct my streams! Then, we’ll unveil a wide array of fan merchandise prepared especially for today! There will also be handshake sessions and much more, so let’s all stay pumped till the end!”

The announcement was met with even louder cheers.

Now, as for the new products and fan goods, ideally he would like to announce what they were, but keeping some suspense was important for the flow of the event. 

It’ll be interesting to see the reaction when things like ASMR and voice collections are unveiled… Anyway, the event has finally begun.
