- Chapter 25: United With The Busty Black-Haired Student Council President
I opened the student council room door with a click and closed it behind me. Shino sat on the desk in her maid outfit and looked up at me with a flushed face.
“Welcome. You slipped out, didn’t you? I actually enjoyed working as a maid, but when I saw you in that butler outfit I couldn’t hold back.”
“Hold back…?”
“I’m not stressed. Right now, I just want to have fun with you.”
Shino stepped down to the floor and came closer. She wrapped her arms around my neck, looked at me with eyes wet and bright, and gave a small, mischievous smile.
“I snuck out without telling anyone, so if I go back later they might scold me.”
“Scold you…?”
“Why are you making that face?”
“I was thinking… that maybe people don’t like me.”
“No one hates you. What are you talking about?”
“I just thought that maybe I’m not worthy of you, Shino…”
“..”
Shino’s flushed face turned serious. She placed her hand on my cheek as if to measure my temperature, then continued.
“What’s wrong all of a sudden?”
“It’s nothing serious, I just overheard some classmates talking.”
“What did they say?”
“They said I wasn’t worthy of you, Shino.”
“…Did that bother you?”
“I thought it might not be completely wrong.”
I dropped my gaze in front of Shino. She scolded me, but gently.
“Saying ‘worthy’ or ‘not worthy’ is not for them to decide. It’s about whether the two of us like each other.”
“That’s true… but after losing my confidence at the festival and then overhearing that, I wondered if I’d been fooling myself…”
Shino grabbed both sides of my face and peered into my eyes.
“Are you serious? Is that what you really believe?”
“It’s not a matter of whether I’m serious or not, it’s just that the people around us think that way…”
“Don’t you like me?”
“I do, but…”
“I can see how other people might view it, but that’s not something you should worry about. Would you care about what others think more than you care about the person in front of you?”
She pressed on.
“To ignore me and worry about others instead of looking at me, ignoring my words, is disrespectful. We’ve talked, worked in the student council together, and we’ve been intimate many times. Was I only worth that to you?”
“I care about you, Shino. But you won’t even acknowledge me as your boyfriend…”
As I evaded the question, Shino stared at me intently.
“I struggle too, I hesitate, and I can’t take the next step. But you say you aren’t worthy and back away from me.”
“Shino…”
I stared at her in surprise. She gently stroked my cheek.
“What a terrible expression. You’ve been treated roughly because you were called a mob, haven’t you…”
“I…”
“Mitsuya, you’re torn apart by so many emotions.”
Shino cupped my face in both hands and smiled with compassion. Her smile stung and warmed me at the same time.
“Is being with me that painful?”
Sadness flickered across her face.
“If being with me is too painful, then it’s okay… to end it. I don’t want to force you.”
“End it…?”
“If it would make Mitsuya feel better, then I’d be okay with ending our relationship… That’s what I think. I don’t want to see you in pain.”
“…”
Shino’s words made me clench my fist and bite my lip.
When I think about it, I’d lived my life as a minor character ever since I was little. It’s not that I’d never had any complaints or grumblings, but rather that I’d long given up. However, even someone like myself still had some things I couldn’t give up on.
That’s why I had to muster up the courage to say it now. If I didn’t speak up at this moment, I’d lose Shino. And I’d regret it for the rest of my life.
Driven by these feelings, I mustered up my feelings to convey them to her.
“Shino! Be my girlfriend!”
“!”
She froze as if struck by lightning.
“I don’t want just a physical contract, I want you to be my real girlfriend! I don’t want to lose you. I just now understand that I don’t want to lose you!”
“Mitsuya… this is sudden…”
Shino’s face crumbled. Her face contorted, and she opened her mouth to say something.
“No matter what others say or how they look at us, I want to understand you. I can’t live without you. I can’t move forward without you!”
“That’s dramatic… isn’t it…”
Shino smiled, her eyes teary.
“I don’t care if you’re the school idol or if I’m just a background character. That doesn’t matter anymore.”
“Yeah… yeah!”
“I don’t want our relationship to be just stress relief. I want us to be partners who care for each other.”
Tears spilled from Shino’s eyes. Her face dissolved into emotion.
“I really love you, Shino!”
“Oh… I love you, I love you so much! I’ve been waiting forever for you to want me so much like this!”
Shino flung herself at me. I took her lips forcefully and we kissed, tongues meeting as she responded in kind. We clung to each other, mouths and bodies entwined, both trying to hold on to each other.
We sought each other out and, tangled together, collapsed onto the sofa.
I tore open her clothes and touched her all over, driven by passion. I wanted her heart and soul with a kind of desperate intensity, ravaging her roughly.
“I love you, Shino! I love you!”
“I love you too! I love you, Mitsuya!”
Shino clung to me desperately just as I clung to her.
“You’re mine, Shino! You’re mine!”
“Yes, yes! You’re my Mitsuya! Mine!”
At that point I couldn’t tell which part of her I was holding or which of my own parts connected to hers. We were swept away by a flood of feelings and simply wrapped our bodies around each other.
“Shino! Shino! Ohhh!”
“More, more! Destroy me completely!”
I held her so tightly I nearly crushed her. I pinned her down and roared as we lost ourselves together.
