Karen’s POV

According to Saya-chan, Mikami-kun apparently stopped coming to school the next day. He became what’s commonly referred to as a ‘School refusal’. Well, it’s only natural after all that happened.

After school, I’m currently perplexed by the situation before me.

When I arrived at school this morning, there was a letter addressed to me in my shoe locker. Thinking I couldn’t be fooled any further, I tore up the letter and threw it in a restroom stall. The letter asks me to go to the back of the gymnasium, but the handwriting somewhat resembles Shinozaki’s, which scared me.

And as I was about to head home after school…

I hear a voice calling me, so I turn around to see Sayama-san, who is in the same class as me and just recently transferred to our school.

“Do you have time?”

“No.”

And then, I glace around the classroom. It turns out that it’s just her and me left in the class.
