Chapter 21

Karen’s POV

I received an audio file from Senpai, who is Maho-chan’s older brother.

Just as I expected, she has a trash personality.

Now I can freely do whatever I want to them without feeling any guilt.

She hurt my best friend’s brother, I couldn’t even stand seeing Maho-chan suffering at that time.

Both me and Maho-chan have been friends since middle school, so I know how sad she was during the exam period in our third year of middle school. I saw how much she suffered. On top of that, I can’t forgive the fact that my ex-boyfriend, Mikami-kun, is involved in this.

Three days later, on a holiday, I visit an acquaintance from the broadcasting club at the high school where Mikami-kun attends.

Her name is Kondo Saya. She is a friend of mine who went to the same middle school as me. We have been in touch through emails and such since the graduation ceremony, but it has been a while since we actually last met in person.

“That’s right, my duty is on Wednesdays and Fridays, so…”

“On those days, Saya-chan is the only one on duty, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Then, let’s do it on Wednesday. Can we do it here at your school?”

“Yeah, I’ll make sure to get access. If I say something like it’s for an exchange with the broadcasting club from another school, it should be fine.”

“Okay.”

After that, we talked about various things and spent a leisurely time at her house.

The first decisive battle will be on Wednesday.

Third Person POV

At a certain police station, a woman came to meet with a police officer.

“Is this information correct?”

The police officer asked, showing the woman a report he has written down.

“Yes, that’s correct.”

She replied.

“Are you here as a representative?”

“Yes.”

“Then please submit the evidence.”

The woman hands over an USB memory.

“We’ll need to check the contents inside it, is that okay with you?”

“Yes.”

With that, the police officer inserts the USB memory into the computer and watch the video.

“…!? I-I see. Alright, let me confirm one last time. The victim is Sayaka Hanamoto-san, and Momogaya Hitomi-san is acting as her representative. You are filing a report regarding rape, correct?”

“Yes. By the way, is this evidence considered valid?”

“Yes, it’s considered valid. Even though the incident took place over a year ago, but if it’s captured on video, it is considered reliable evidence. We’ll contact you as soon as the report is accepted.”

“I understand. Thank you. Please hurry and process the report.”

“Yes.”

With that, she stands up and leaves the police station.

“Yasuhiro Otsuki, as of today, you are dismissed from your position as head of department.”

He is stunned, unable to comprehend the situation.

“Numerous reports of harassment from your subordinates, and several new female employees have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment. Along with video evidence.”

“I-I have no idea about any of that! There must be some mistake!”

“Also, you’re aware of this video too, aren’t you?”

As the president says so, he shows him a video of a certain man and woman engaged in sexual activity.

Their faces have been blurred, but their voices and background can be clearly heard and seen.

With those words, he realized that he really can’t stay at this company anymore.

Just like that, he is thrown out of the president’s office.

Those last words—’Sugiyasu-kun has been chosen as the new head of department’—keeps repeating in his head.

The person referred to as Sugiyasu has always been excellent, and Yasuhiro who is jealous of that, often harassed him.

As a result, he has been fired from the company.
