Chapter 76: Escape
“Huff, huff, huff, huff”
In the scorching midsummer heat, I just keep running.
My whole body is drenched in sweat, but I keep running.
The bell is so noisy, though.
Since I’m running at full speed, the sound of the bell echoes through the residential area, and it’s honestly embarrassing.
But this embarrassment makes the image of a pet escaping from its owner even clearer.
Now, why am I running at full speed all alone like this? It goes back to the tense moment earlier with Rinka and Satsuna.
If I hadn’t done anything back then and just stood by, a huge disaster would’ve probably happened by now.
To prevent that, I took action.
That action was escape.
It was decided among all my sisters to keep me locked up at home for a while.
But if I escape like this, they won’t have time to fight among themselves.
They’ll all team up to catch me, no doubt.
Plus, if this were a yandere ASMR, escape and confinement go hand in hand, right?
Still, this was a gamble.
I waited for the moment when Rinka and Satsuna were only focused on each other, then I dashed to the bathroom and escaped through the window.
Luckily, the window was already open, and since I’m small, I got out cleanly.
Ayuka and Fuzuha noticed what I was doing right away, but they reacted a bit too late.
I heard the door being pounded hard, but by then, I was already outside.
…The bathroom door is probably smashed to pieces by Ayuka or Rinka by now.
RIP bathroom door.
But the tough part starts now.
I keep glancing back, but I don’t see anyone chasing me.
Knowing Satsuna’s personality, she won’t chase me down right away to catch me. She’ll slowly close off my options, cornering me physically and mentally.
“Physically… mentally…”
Well, I’m the one who escaped, so I’m in the wrong.
I’ll just accept whatever punishment comes my way without resisting…
Now that it’s come to this, going back home right away is no longer an option.
So, I need to kill time somewhere.
“Oh, right, Kirino-san…”
Yeah.
In times like this, shouldn’t I rely on her?
Things might be awkward since it’s only been a day, but as someone aiming to be a freeloader in the future, I can’t let awkwardness hold me back.
With that decided, I head straight for Kirino-san’s house.
I heard it’s better to show up unannounced as a surprise rather than messaging ahead—it helps ease the tension.
Unlike usual, I take a detour to get to Kirino-san’s house.
Taking a detour means leaving the residential area and heading to the main road.
“Hey, look at that!”
“What’s with that weirdo? He’s got a collar on?”
“Is it some kind of play?”
“He’s a guy, but kinda cute, huh? Maybe worth a shot.”
“Mommy, that man’s wearing a collar!”
“Don’t look!!!”
Why do they have to gossip so loudly?
And did I just hear some BL-type conversation?
What’s with the “worth a shot” nonsense!
At least say that after I crossdress or something.
Anyway, after walking for about ten minutes while hearing loud gossip, I finally see Kirino-san’s house.
“Man, her house is huge as always.”
I don’t think Kirino-san has any siblings, so she’s probably an only child.
What, does she keep space for friends to stay over?
Or maybe she’s already prepared a room for me!?
Lost in these thoughts, I arrive at her house.
From the front, it looks like a mafia boss’s hideout in a movie.
I naturally press the doorbell.
I can’t hear the chime echoing inside the house.
Normally, you’d hear the chime from outside too.
So, it’s soundproofed, huh?
Soundproof… soundproof… soundproof…
…Turning everything into dirty words is my bad habit.
About a minute later, the front door opens with an electric sound.
It probably wasn’t opened manually.
“…Ki, Kiyoto-kun.”
Kirino-san peeks out, looking at me with sad eyes.
“Morning, Kirino-san.”
“Morning…”
As expected, the conversation stops after the greeting.
Usually, Kirino-san would keep talking from here, but she doesn’t seem to have the energy for that today.
“Uh, um, sorry for the sudden request, but can you let me in…?”
“…Huh?”
Kirino-san’s eyes widen, like she doesn’t understand what I’m saying.
“I’ve got some complicated stuff going on, so can you hide me…?”
“Hide you?”
Oh no, was “hide” a bad choice of words…?
“Is that okay?”
“Y-yeah, yeah. I’m the only one here right now, so it’s totally fine.”
When Kirino-san agrees, the big gate opens automatically.
I pass through the gate and enter the house with Kirino-san.

Once inside, I realized it’s not just the outside that’s impressive—the inside is on another level too.
First, the entrance is way bigger than my house’s.
There’s even a table in the entrance, making it feel more like a lobby than an entrance.
After passing through an unusually long hallway, I reach the living room.
This living room feels exactly like a big shot’s hideout from a movie.
There are four fancy sofas in the center, all facing each other.
Right next to them is a TV built into the wall.
This TV isn’t something you’d find at a regular electronics store.
And then there’s the garden you can access from the living room.
I mean, this place is in the city, so how did they get such a huge garden big enough for a house party?
“Kiyoto-kun, sit on the sofa and relax. I’ll get you something to drink,” Kirino-san says before heading to the next room.
Is that entire room a kitchen?
Half a room would be enough for a kitchen, right?
“Here’s coffee,” Kirino-san says, bringing me a cup with a nice smell.
Come to think of it, I’ve never drunk coffee before.
Alright, let’s climb one step up the adult stairs, in a non-sexual way for once.
“Bitter!?”
I quickly put the cup on the table.
What is this? It’s too bitter!
Bitterer than a girl’s earwax! (Not that I’ve ever eaten any, of course.)
“S-sorry, Kiyoto-kun. Was the coffee too bitter for you?” Kirino-san says, casually treating me like a kid.
If that’s how she wants to play, fine.
I love baby play too.
“K-Kirino-san, do you always drink coffee?”
“Not always, but… I drink it when I’m in the mood,” she says.
Man, instead of drinking this super bitter liquid, I’d rather collect my own sweat in a cup and drink that.
Kirino-san’s sweat probably seems super healthy too.
“Anything you want to watch?” she asks.
Oh, there’s plenty.
Lately, since I’ve been sleeping in Satsuna’s room, I’ve been really pent up.
“Nah, not right now,” I say.
But I don’t have the courage to talk to Kirino-san about that yet.
Besides, even if I said I wanted to watch something, there’s no way this house has AVs.
…Wait, why am I assuming there aren’t any?
Maybe there are!
If there are, I’d get to see a new side of Kirino-san, and my nighttime activities would go smoother.
“So… why did you suddenly come to my house today?” Kirino-san asks nervously.
“W-Well, I kinda got into a fight with my sisters. Going back home right away would just make things awkward, so I thought I’d hang out at your place for a bit… Is that okay?”
I wasn’t the one fighting, though.
“Y-Yeah, yeah! It’s totally fine! So, you got into a fight with your sisters, huh?” Kirino-san mutters, sounding a bit happy.
Well, if I’m fighting with my sisters, it might actually benefit her.
“Oh, a-and…” she starts.
“Hm?”
But her happiness doesn’t last long. She quickly looks down, seeming hesitant to say something.
“Y-Yesterday… I’m s-sorry!” she says, grabbing my arm tightly while apologizing.
Ow, that actually hurts…
“I got upset and slammed you hard onto the desk,” she says.
She seems to at least remember the moment she slammed me onto the desk.
“Because of me… you were bleeding from your forehead… and I couldn’t even apologize yesterday,” she continues.
This is just my guess, but Kirino-san probably went to my house yesterday to apologize in person.
She probably rang the intercom too.
But, bad luck, either Rinka, who couldn’t control her emotions, or Ayuka, in super grumpy mode, answered the door.
Then Kirino-san probably got yelled at (or maybe even attacked) and was forcibly sent away.
“I’m really sorry! I’ll pay for medical bills or anything, or you can do the same thing to me!!”
No way!
Getting DV’d is my exclusive privilege!
“C-Calm down, Kirino-san,” I say.
She’s gripping my arm so hard it feels like my bones are about to break.
“Huh? Oh, s-sorry,” she says, noticing my pained expression and quickly letting go.
You can’t see it under my clothes, but I bet there’s a clear handprint on my arm now.
…My body just got marked up another level…//
