Chapter 1-25: Aina and Haruka. Rafio and Tsumugi
“Saber, we’ve already taken care of the Fear-Eater.”
“Really!? Who… who did it?”
Saber noticed the presence of the yellow fellow magical girl and stared at her with a scrutinizing gaze.
“Could it be that you’re Yuuma’s classmate?”
“Yes! I’m Haruka Kanbashi! Nice to meet you!”
“Ah, I’m Aina Souri. Thank you for always looking after my brother…”
Aina’s reflexive response as a working adult was cut short the moment Saber’s gaze fell on a certain spot.
It was the open chest area that Liner had emphasized earlier.
Even though they were both magical girls, the details of their outfits differed slightly. I didn’t know why these differences existed.
Saber’s outfit didn’t reveal much of her chest. Additionally, there was an undeniable size difference that seemed to shock Saber.
She collapsed on the spot.
“Hey! Sis, get a grip!”
“Yuuma, do you also think that big breasts are better?”
“What?”
“Tell me the truth! As a man, do you prefer a woman with big breasts over someone with modest ones like mine?”
She clung to me, sitting on the floor, and suddenly blurted out that question.
Also, Aina’s breasts were far from modest. Even in her disarray, she displayed her characteristic self-assurance.
“Yuuma! Promise me! Even if my breasts are modest, I’ll always be your number one sister!”
“Annoying! Get off me! And stop crying!”
“Um, Aina-san, you’re Yuuma’s sister, right?”
Liner, who had guessed our relationship from the previous introductions, spoke hesitantly, witnessing the bizarre atmosphere.
Indeed, it wasn’t something you’d normally say to your brother while crying.
“Yuuma! Don’t leave me! Take care of me forever!”
“Hey, shut up. You’re embarrassing yourself in front of Haruka. Don’t show such a pathetic side in front of my classmate!”
“But—!”
“Yuuma, is she really your sister?”
“Yeah. Hard to believe, I know.”
“Enough fooling around, everyone. People will return soon. We need to escape. Yuuma and Saber, ride on me. Liner, can you run on your own?”
Rafio’s back could only carry two people. One of us had to run.
“Of course! Running is fun!”
“Don’t forget your wheelchair.”
“Oh… I didn’t forget!”
In her joy at being able to run on her own legs, she almost forgot. I don’t think she misunderstood that she’d need the wheelchair again once she transformed back.
We managed to escape from the department store, dashing into a deserted alley. Many people saw us along the way, but we somehow got away.
Given the limited exits and the naturally crowded area, the existence of the yellow magical girl was probably already known.
That was Rafio’s intention too.
We’d confirm how the public perceived us later.
Once we ensured no one was around, Saber and Liner reverted back to Aina and Haruka. I removed my mask and put on my blazer. Haruka settled into her wheelchair.
“I’m back to my usual self without the transformation.”
“Don’t transform unless it’s necessary.”
“Ah, yeah. I won’t? Probably won’t, yeah.”
She intended to transform, didn’t she?
Well, some people even suggested transforming to rush to work, so I understood the feeling.
“If you adhere to the condition of keeping your identity a secret, transforming is acceptable.”
Rafio, shrinking back to his small size, spoke to Haruka from atop my head.
“Really? …You can grow and shrink, huh.”
“This size is my true form. Becoming large is tiring.”
“Wow. Can you tell me more about yourself?”
“Sure.”
Rafio jumped onto Haruka’s outstretched hand.
“Where should I start? How about the world I came from—”
As Rafio began to explain, a swift blue wind blew past Haruka.
In its wake, Rafio had vanished.
“Huh?”
“Yay! Fluffy! Fluffy!”
“Aaaah!”
“Hello, fluffy friend! What’s your name? Fluffy Taro?”
“Stop it! Let go!”
“Hahaha!”
Our neighbor Tsumugi, who loved all things fluffy, was hugging Rafio, rubbing her cheek against him and squeezing him tight.
This act of “fluffing” was what she called it.
“Hey, tell me your name, Fluffy Taro!”
“It’s Rafio! Don’t just name me whatever you like!”
“Okay! Mofio it is!”
“It’s Rafio!”
“Mofio smells nice!”
“Aaah!”
Tsumugi pressed her face into Rafio’s belly and breathed in deeply.
I’ve heard that people do this with cats too—smelling them like this.
“Let go, you fluffy maniac!”
“Oof!”
Rafio kicked Tsumugi’s face and forcibly escaped. Quite the leg strength.
He transformed into his boy form.
“Alright! The fluff is gone! There’s no fluff anywhere! Fluffing time is over! Kids should go home!”
“Humph.”
Tsumugi, realizing that the boy in front of her was the same as the fluffy creature from earlier, approached him again.
“Kitchy kitchy koo!”
“Wha?! Ahaha!”
She tickled Rafio’s neck, causing him to revert back to his small fluffy form with a pop.
“What?! How did this happen?”
“Fluffy!”
“Aaaah!”
I have no idea how she figured out how to change Rafio’s form. Probably some kind of instinct.
Poor Rafio was destined to be fluffed endlessly.
