Scumtos’ Activities

After talking with my parents for quite some time, Gregorio suddenly remembered something.

“Ah, that’s right! Count Bertz was looking for you over there. I think it would be a good idea for you to meet him.”

My parents hesitate for a moment.

It seems that they don’t want to leave me alone in this soiree.

“No, no, it’s fine.”

My parents said so.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be fine!”

Gregorio reassures them so.

Gregorio gently smiles and says so.

While Gregorio is guiding me to this ‘fun place’, I find myself reflecting on the events of this game.

In ‘Last Aca’ Lyon is known as the starting town of the game.

This is because it’s where the main character, Seig, experiences an event that sets him on his path to becoming a hero.

Let me tell you the brief summary of the story.

The protagonist, Sieg, is a villager who lives in Rag Village near the town of Lyon.

Sieg’s father works as one of the knights in Lyon.

So naturally, Seig admires his father and spends his days training to be as strong as his father.

Then one day, he hears that a young lady from a noble family has come to the neighbouring village of Haven, and so he decides to meet her.

There, Sieg meets one of the main heroines, Iris Webern.

She is the daughter of an aristocrat from the frontier of Randall territory, and due to the increasing monster attacks lately, her family decides to not take any chances and stay the night at the Haven Village on their way to Lyon for the conference.

And so, when the two of them meet, they hit it off immediately.

Sieg promises to Iris,

“I promise, I will protect you no matter what.”

Hearing those words, Iris blushes and nods, thus opening the classic childhood friend route.

However, when Iris arrives at Lyon, wishing to reunite with Seig, she is faced with the harsh reality of being forced to introduce herself to the corrupt high-ranking aristocrats.

After the conference is concluded, the nobles decided to go to an extravagant and luxurious soiree instead of addressing the crucial matter of the recent increase in monster attacks.

Even the highly respected Duke Randall, doesn’t seem to care about the monster attacks.

And to make things even worse, the son of Duke Randall, which is me, is behaving like a total scumbag.

Of course, because Iris has a strong sense of justice, she confronts Scumtos about his behaviour.

“—what do you think your duty is as a son of an aristocrat?”

However, in response to her question, Ultos, says with a mocking tone.

“Do you think a girl from the frontier of my territory has the right to give me orders!?”

If he stopped right there, he would just become an ordinary villain, but it’s Scumtos we’re talking here, the worst villain in history.

Scumtos even goes as far as to irritate all the players by saying,

“In consideration of your beauty, I might forgive you if you’re willing to become my mistress. Gufufufufu.”

Naturally, Iris who had always admired the aristocrats up to that point, is deeply shocked and disappointed.

And, because of it, she decides to run away from Lyon.

Then, when Iris is on her way to the neighbouring village to meet Seig, she was kidnaped…

After Iris was kidnapped, the story transitions to intense combat gameplay, and this concludes the first half of Lyon’s events.

Yeah, it’s truly remarkable…

Our beloved Scummy brat, Scumtos, is making a significant impact throughout the story.

By the way, because of this incident, when Scumtos later enrolled in the magic academy, he spends his youth trying to get in the way of the protagonist and Iris. Then ultimately, facing his tragic death.

Just thinking about it makes me depressed…

I should absolutely find a way to change my future…

“We’re almost here.”

I snapped back to reality when I hear Gregorio’s voice saying so.

It seems that I have been led to a place somewhat a bit far away from the venue of the soiree.

Well, in short, Gregorio is leading me to a less crowded place so that he can corrupt the heir of the Randall family without anyone noticing.

In front of the building, there are several strong looking guards.

The security here seems to be quite tight.

When Gregorio gives a nod, the door suddenly opens.
