Chapter 2: Let’s Eat Until We’re Full!

“Hell… I mean, isn’t this the afterlife?”

“I get why you’d think you wandered into it, but this is a land for the living.”

The older sister informed me while munching on bread. That was her fifth piece. With that appetite, she could probably handle meat, too.

“Onii-chan, are you a traveler? There’s nothing in this frontier territory.”

The younger sister told me, also munching away. She was on her third piece. She’d seemed full after two pieces and a drink, but less than five minutes later, she begged for a third. The bread was bought by selling random rubble around here. I kept buying more, telling them to eat as much as they wanted.

“Frontier territory… What’s that?”

“It’s the edge of the kingdom. West of here, it’s just forests and mountains—land where magical beasts live. We’re residents of this frontier territory. We hadn’t eaten in four days, so you really saved us.”

The older sister had been unconscious from starvation, after all. They were clearly still kids, yet they’d been starving like that. What a harsh world. The edge of the kingdom meant a backwater town, didn’t it? Probably poor because it was so rural. 

But to think this was an “other world”…  I’d been about to throw myself off in despair when I ended up in this “other world.” I was so shocked when I heard it, I asked them to repeat it three times.

“Phew, I’m stuffed! Thanks, Onii-chan! I’m Etna, thirteen years old!”

“Thank you, Onii-chan! I’m Pirika, nine years old!”

Both of them spoke to me with beaming smiles. The older sister was Etna, and the younger was Pirika. Like me, they seemed to have no parents. They must have had a tough time surviving on their own.

“My name’s Kaito Ayasaki. …I just woke up here somehow. I don’t remember how I got here at all.”

“Memory loss, huh? Well, if you don’t remember, there is nothing we can do about it! I’ll teach you how to get by here!”

Etna declared confidently. Teach me how to live? You guys were starving, weren’t you? You were hardly getting by yourselves. Still, I appreciated the offer.

“You sure you should trust me so easily? What if I was a creep targeting kids’ bodies?”

“Huh? You’re obviously a guy, so you’re the one who’d get attacked. If this town’s people were in better shape, they’d have milked you for your seed in no time, especially in a desolate building like this!”

What the heck? Why would a guy be the one attacked? I stayed silent, unconvinced, when suddenly Etna tackled me to the ground. What strength! So small, yet stronger than me.

“You forgot that too? Women can hold more magical power. Something about Immunosuppression or whatever… Basically we can take in more magic than men. No way a guy could overpower us.”

Immunosuppression… The ability to get pregnant! Right. Women here had a stronger capacity to absorb external forces, so they could always use magic to enhance their strength. That explained the strength difference.

“So in this world… Men are weak?”

“Weak as hell. Too weak to live properly. This town’s better off, but in the slums, men are the first to get used as women’s tools. Some say there are fewer men because they’ve been used up.”

To the point it affected the gender ratio, huh? Understandable, really. Even in Japan, small villages had plenty of stories about a shortage of women. The weak got preyed on and dwindled. So men here struggled just to survive?

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen a guy. But don’t worry, we’ll protect you! Kaito-nii-chan even gave us food!”

“That’s reassuring. I’m counting on you.”

That was close. Without this “Purchase” cheat and online mall function, I’d have been devoured. If I hadn’t met these kids, I might’ve been desperate enough to let myself be used.

“…Once I’m done verifying, I’ll let you eat as much as you want.”

“Verifying? What’re you doing?”

Pirika asked. I wanted to test what could be “purchased.” With Etna and Pirika’s help, I tried a few things.

“…Everything turns into money.”

In conclusion, except for cardboard and trash from the mall function, everything fetched a decent price. My balance was already over 200,000 yen.

“It’s supposed to buy stuff in the form of magical power… But… Does anything from this world work?”

“What, you’re turning magic into food? Then anything around here would work, especially now.”

Etna said, sounding unimpressed. I didn’t get it, so I asked her to explain in detail. She then explained.

“Magical power is in everything in this world. It’s everywhere. …At least, that’s how it is now. The ‘magic rampage’ wiped out crops around here. A magic explosion from the beast mountains filled this frontier with strong magical power.”

Strong magical power. That was what ruined the crops, causing a temporary famine. So the high buyback prices came from the strong magic in local materials. Using that magic to “produce food” was ironic. But that meant worthless pebbles here were a goldmine for me. If I wanted, I could probably se;; the whole world.

“…For now, should I distribute food? I can produce as much as needed. No need to hoard or be stingy.”

“What!? Really!? That’d save a ton of people!”

Of course. It cost me nothing—no lifespan or anything. Just toss local rubble into the “Purchase” screen, pull out cooking tools and food from the online mall—easy job. With Etna and Pirika’s help, it’d work out. Once they were up for it, I’d start preparing. Gotta help those who need it—for their sake and mine.

Then, with full stomachs, Etna and Pirika gave me strange looks.

“Hey, Nii-chan… I’ve got a favor to ask…”

“What? Is it something important? If I can do it, tell me.”

“It is important.”

Etna said, her face red. Breathing heavily, she lifted the hem of her tunic. No underwear—her young inner thighs glistened from sweat.

“It’s been so long since I’ve seen a guy…Now that I’m full and relaxed, I couldn’t hold back anymore… Please, can you teach me and Pirika about ‘men’…?”

“What the hell are you saying!?”

Aren’t you still thirteen years old!? Sure, it’s the age for sexual awakening, but this is bad!

Etna approached while playing with her crotch, making wet sounds. Her eyes were feverishly seductive.

“Please, Onii-chan… My body’s all hot and weird… Teach me about men…!”

“Idiot, you’re too young! That’s a problem—”

Even if this was another world, thirteen was like a first-year middle schooler in Japan. I couldn’t do it. But in this world, I was the weak one. I couldn’t match Etna’s strength. 

She pinned me down in an instant, breathing heavily, her voice trembling as she looked down at me.

“Nii-chan… Please.”

“Stop it, you idiot—!”

And just like that, Etna kept milking me dry right in front of Pirika. 

This world is really dangerous for men.
