Sacred Chevalier - Chapter 7
Chapter 7: High-Class Brothel “Gloria” (※ Slight)
“What does the goddess’s blessing actually feel like?”
Academy classes aren’t very interesting. Relationships between men and women aren’t banned, but if you have sex before the Awakening Ritual, the hero candidate must name that partner at the ceremony. So it’s not a free-for-all. You have to take responsibility.
“For normal women, the goddess’s blessing only works at the level of health and youthfulness. Things like catching fewer colds or better skin. On the other hand, for paladins the effect shows clearly. That’s why paladins are more aware of the blessing.”
I asked something I’d been wondering for a while. All the women I’d been with so far were ex-paladins. What about normal women?
“Question. So does that mean normal women who aren’t paladins don’t feel the goddess’s blessing at all?”
“More precisely, at the moment of sex they don’t feel the blessing descending. Looking back later, they seem to realize they had received it.”
“In other words, if you’re not conscious of it you wouldn’t even know if it’s the blessing or just your imagination. The blessing only descends at that weak level?”
“That’s right. Of course, there are individual differences. Just like there are men who never become heroes, there are women who never become paladins.”
So unless I’m extremely “unlucky,” as long as I don’t fuck paladins or ex-paladins, my power won’t be exposed. It’ll end with “I feel really good when I’m with you” or “I was pent up.” If not for this class, I probably wouldn’t have gone to the brothel.
“My name is Nadine. I am the owner of this establishment… ‘Gloria.’ You said your name is Kaito, correct? May I call you Kaito-san?”
“Yeah. I’ll call you Nadine too.”
Nadine circled me once after I entered the room and introduced herself. She stepped back a little and looked me over from head to toe.
“Young and healthy body… decent muscle tone. Your face isn’t bad either, and above all…”
She leaned in close. She sniffed my neck with a sniff sniff. It tickled and sent shivers through me.
“The scent of a strong male… The noble ladies will love it. However, I can’t hire you without hearing your circumstances. Won’t you sit and tell me?”
I was finally allowed to sit. Nadine clapped her hands and an elderly man brought tea. He then stood by the wall. Seems he’s also her bodyguard. I took a sip. The proprietress started speaking.
“My shop ‘Gloria’ is one of the top high-class brothels in the capital. Noble and high-class ladies come incognito seeking a night’s comfort. That’s why we carefully select our male whores. The most important thing is a tight mouth. In other words, I can’t hire anyone who isn’t trustworthy.”
“Then you can relax. I’m carrying secrets too. I’ll take my customers’ secrets to the grave. ‘Sharing secrets’ is the best way to build trust, right?”
“What kind of secret is it? If I’m going to hire you, I need to know.”
“I’m a ‘hero chevalier candidate’ at the Royal Knight Academy. If that gets out, it’ll cause all kinds of trouble. So I need the customers to keep it absolutely secret too.”
Nadine’s eyebrow twitched. She glanced at the elderly man. He silently bowed and left the room without a sound. Nadine laughed, looking amused.
“Ufufu… Even I have never hired a hero chevalier before. A hero’s job is to hold paladins. They even risk their lives for it. What you do is the same as a male whore, but you’re the farthest thing from it. Assuming you are a hero chevalier candidate, why do you want to become a male whore?”
“To put it simply, I’m an outlier even among heroes. Frankly, living at the Royal Knight Academy is painful. For sexual reasons…”
I told her my story. I hid the part about the blessing descending even without virginity, but otherwise I was pretty much honest. Nadine listened silently. When I finished, she thought for a moment then asked.
“Twice, three times… a man who can do that without aphrodisiacs? I’ve never heard of it. There’s only one way to check. Can you hold me?”
“Of course. Actually I’ve been itching to devour you since earlier.”
Nadine laughed loudly. She muttered “Like a wild beast” and stood up. Her tits bounced boing, and my lower half reacted strongly.
“Aaahh!”
On the bed, connected in a sitting position. I wrapped my hands around her waist and devoured her swaying fruits. At first Nadine tried to fight back against me, but she seemed to give up. She wrapped her arms around my neck, clinging on and letting out female screams.
“Yeah. Better than I expected. Pretty delicious. Your body is…”
“Kuuuh… I-I’m… your employer…”
“Doesn’t matter. I told you. The reason I wanted to become a male whore is to devour lots of tasty female meat. You wouldn’t eat bad food either, right? Same thing. I only fuck women I want to fuck.”
“H-how violent… But, but it feels so gooood!”
I released massively inside her. But I wasn’t satisfied. I kept thrusting even while cumming. Changed positions, me on top. I moved my hips while kissing her lips.
“Amazing… really, a second round too…”
“I don’t get full from once. Let me eat until I’m satisfied!”
On top, on bottom, then piercing from behind. After cumming a total of four times I finally felt at ease. Nadine’s back trembled twitch twitch, cum overflowing from between her legs. After about twenty minutes she seemed to calm down. She looked at me with vacant eyes.
“Such sex… first time. It felt so good I thought I’d go crazy…”
“Pass?”
“Yeah… just… let me rest a bit more…”
Nadine fell asleep. No choice, I stood up, got dressed, and returned to the reception room. I sat in the empty room when the elderly man brought tea. Seems I’m supposed to wait here. About an hour later Nadine returned. The slutty expression from being fucked in my arms was completely gone; she was back as the brothel owner. At the room entrance she heard something from the man, nodded.
“Confirmation complete. You are indeed a first-year at the Royal Knight Academy.”
“How did you… nah, asking would be rude. Running a brothel in the capital, you’ve got those connections, right?”
Nadine said nothing and silently drank her tea. Silence continued for a while.
“…In this shop, the going rate is five gold coins per night, five thousand crone. Of course, depending on popularity it can go higher. The most popular is an ex-knight from the kingdom’s knight order at ten thousand crone.”
In the Holy Felcis Kingdom, a normal family’s monthly income is about fifteen hundred crone. From that, it was an outrageous price.
“Sales split is shop six, male whore four, but the shop provides the aphrodisiacs. Though maybe you don’t need them?”
“I see. So what’s my price?”
“Considering the hero chevalier point, ten thousand crone or more is certain. But we can’t advertise that openly. So we start you as a rookie at three thousand crone.”
“Fine. But conditions. I choose the customers. A male whore’s job is to please women. But I’m different. I’m here to ‘devour females.’ I won’t fuck any woman I don’t want to eat. In exchange, I’ll please them more than anyone.”
“Arrogant. A first-class male whore gives women a night of love with words and attitude. They have sex as an act of love. But you’re different. Your way of fucking is domination, conquest. And yes, there are women who like being fucked that way. Women who can’t be satisfied with bland partners and want to be pinned down, their bodies devoured. Women who want a powerful man. There are many who wish for that.”
“Men are too weak. Still, it really is normal to go soft after just once. Good study material.”
“Learn the technique too. A first-class male whore satisfies the partner plenty before insertion? You’re strong but too rough. Like a wild horse. It’ll be novel at first but they’ll get bored eventually.”
And so I ended up spending weekend nights in the capital once a week. If no tasty female came, Nadine would take care of me apparently. Getting to eat pussy and get paid for it—hell of a good job, I thought.
While Kaito was setting up a stable supply system for “meat,” in the Tolmakia Empire located north of the Holy Felcis Kingdom, a revolution that would later affect history was about to occur. It was at the Imperial Military University.
“Your Highness. The paladin and hero chevalier candidates who enrolled this term are assembled. Please…”
Urged by the headmaster, Crown Prince Austro Tolmakia of the Tolmakia Empire stood on the stage. Under everyone’s attention, Austro’s address began.
“Everyone, first congratulations on your enrollment. You will now spend the next three years studying to become paladins and heroes. And in three years, you will be active on the battlefield. Sometimes you may lose your lives. You passed through this school’s gates prepared for that. For that I express my heartfelt respect.”
After a pause, Austro continued his address.
“As you all know, I too graduated from this university two years ago. As a hero chevalier. My personal guard is the paladin Aisis Elenskaya. I named her as my partner and I am the active hero who supports her. From my position as a hero I say this. My classmates are currently fighting on the battlefield. And in ten years, probably the majority of my classmates will have left the battlefield. If things continue as they are…”
At Austro’s address, all the candidates tilted their heads. It wasn’t just encouragement to do your best; the atmosphere was like he was announcing something.
“I gained one insight from this school and the battlefield. The way we’ve been fighting has been ‘using up’ paladins and heroes. Consumables with a ten-year limit… if I’m blunt, that’s the reality. I will change this reality. I will change the way we fight so heroes don’t wither and die, so paladins don’t feel anxiety about the future. I promise. You will meet face to face in ten years, in twenty years, alive! But for that, I need your cooperation. To change the military, we need the real voices from paladins and heroes. Everyone, first study hard for these three years. And please, cooperate with me. To meet your classmates on your left and right in twenty years!”
When the address ended, the room fell silent. Applause started from somewhere. It soon spread to all the new students. Cheers of “Long live the Crown Prince!” rang out.
The “Military History” class taken jointly by officer candidates, paladins, and heroes is one of the few classes where Kaito can stay awake. Not just reviewing history, but discussing it as case studies, so it was an important class for the officer candidates too.
“In the Second Kabachi Plains Defense Battle, General Regzas led one army to bypass the plains and executed a flanking attack on the imperial forces. But that detour wasn’t easy. It happened to be the dry season in the Kabachi Plains so water was scarce, and General Regzas’s army suffered from water shortage. While struggling, General Regzas somehow got to the enemy’s flank and tried to give the remaining small amount of water to the paladin Fremelia. But Fremelia shook her head, let the hero take one sip, then threw the rest away. She said this: We paladins are human just like you. We are fellow citizens of the same kingdom. I gave it to the hero chevalier because his power will be absolutely necessary. But I will not drink. I want to quench this thirst together with all of you using the enemy’s blood… Now, what can we learn from this historical fact? Osmeyer-kun?”
The officer candidate Osmeyer stood up and answered.
“Yes. What we can learn from this case is the importance of trust between the regular army, paladins, and heroes. Paladins possess supernatural power and play decisive roles in critical moments. However, it is the regular army that creates those moments. If there is emotional conflict between the two sides, the military cannot function.”
Osmeyer sat down. The professor nodded and was about to continue his explanation when a small voice rang out.
“Hah… How ridiculous.”
A stir spread through the room. The professor turned around.
“Was that you, Kaito-kun? Do you have an opinion?”
I stood up and gave my thoughts.
“There’s only one thing this case teaches us. Never let an incompetent general like this Regzas guy lead an army. This is concrete proof that when an idiot is in charge, the people below suffer.”
“H-hey! Kaito!”
Stefan tried to stop me. The classroom grew louder. The professor’s brows furrowed.
“What do you mean? Your wording is quite harsh, Kaito-kun.”
“It’s such a stupid example that harsh words are necessary. Securing water and rations is the most basic duty in military operations. It happened to be the dry season? Then why didn’t they prepare accordingly? A general’s job isn’t to sweat alongside the soldiers. His job is to prepare water so the soldiers can sweat safely. If I were in charge of the military, I would fire him immediately. And one more thing. What was the hero chevalier of paladin Fremelia doing? Preparing meals for a paladin is the hero’s job. The hero who failed to prepare so that the paladin could fight without worry can only be called incompetent. This case teaches us two things. First, soldiers with stupid superiors suffer. Second, paladins paired with incompetent heroes suffer. Since I’m a hero candidate, this is what I learned: Heroes should check the battlefield themselves before fighting and secure sufficient supplies. Especially when the general commanding the regular army looks incompetent…”
Bang! The sound of a desk being slammed echoed. The earlier Osmeyer stood up with an angry expression.
“Are you calling us incompetent?!”
“Didn’t you hear? I’m saying the general named Regzas in this case is incompetent. And so is Fremelia’s hero chevalier. You said earlier that creating decisive moments is the regular army’s role. I agree. But how do you create those moments without water or food? Or do you think logistics aren’t necessary?”
Osmeyer turned bright red. The professor hurriedly intervened. Stefan raised his hand. The professor looked relieved and called on him.
“I believe both opinions are correct. Osmeyer approached the case from the angle of trust between the regular army, paladins, and heroes, while Kaito viewed it from the perspective of supply. It’s just different viewpoints. I don’t think their opinions are actually in conflict.”
The professor nodded and had me and Osmeyer sit down.
“Kaito-kun’s wording was harsh, but from the supply perspective he is correct. Securing supplies is the responsibility of the logistics officer and ultimately the general. Historical cases must be viewed from multiple angles. It’s not enough to simply memorize what you’re taught. This kind of multi-angle discussion will prove useful on the battlefield one day. Thank you, both of you, and Stefan-kun as well.”
I glared at Stefan out of the corner of my eye.
Damn it, stealing all the good parts again.
