Chapter 35.7: Setting Guide – As of Volume 01
Unique World Concepts Summary
《Job》
A type of innate talent granted by the gods, related to both skills and magic.
Those with a job gain experience faster in that area, and their growth potential increases—think of it like an amplifier for natural talent.
The rarer and more powerful the job, the stronger this effect becomes.
The skills you can acquire vary depending on your job.
《Skill》
Abilities that can be learned by gaining a job and honing related techniques.
The skills you can learn depend on the job you have.
Jobs of similar types—like 《Sword Saint》 and 《Swordsman》—can sometimes learn overlapping skills.
Using skills consumes mana or stamina, though they can be activated regardless of how skilled you are at output control (more on that later).
《Magic》
The power to manipulate the elements through mana.
As long as you understand how to control mana, anyone can generally use the four base elements—fire, water, wind, and earth—plus non-elemental magic.
Special Attributes
These are unique magic types that exist outside the five base elements.
They can’t be learned through normal training—instead, they become available by randomly acquiring certain magical skills, regardless of your job or actions.
Examples: 《Lightning Magic》, 《Holy Magic》
Magic Power
A collective term referring to the three core aspects of magical ability.
These aspects grow stronger the more they are used.
(The specific breakdown of these aspects will be explained later.)
Magic Ability – Detailed Breakdown
Mana Capacity (Magic Quantity)
The total amount of mana a person naturally holds within their body.
Without sufficient mana, casting powerful magic becomes extremely difficult.
The mana cost of spells can vary depending on how efficiently you control it.
In simple terms, think of this as your “mana tank size.”
The more you use mana, or the longer you stay in areas dense with mana, the more your maximum mana capacity will increase.
Mana Output
The ability to release mana from your body into the outside world.
Without output, you can’t cast magic externally, and powerful spells won’t activate.
On the other hand, the higher your output, the more you can amplify even weak spells by pouring extra mana into them.
Think of it like the “size of the faucet” connected to your mana tank.
Like the others, it improves through repeated use, but if you don’t use it, it won’t grow at all.
Mana Control
The ability to manipulate your mana, both inside and outside your body.
Better control means higher efficiency, allowing you to cast stronger spells with less mana or achieve powerful results even with average mana reserves.
In other words, it’s like having “good conversion efficiency.”
Not only does it grow with use, but it also needs deliberate training and mental focus to improve.
《Magic Swords》
Swords that contain magical or mana-based abilities, capable of triggering special effects or phenomena.
They’re similar to magic tools (magic items) and often share the trait of drawing in nearby mana to activate.
Their power typically comes not just from the wielder’s mana, but from the mana-rich environment around them as well.
Nations
Kingdom of Sildiel
The homeland of Abel and Millia, located at the center of the continent.
A nation built around agriculture and known for its fertile lands.
Said to have been founded by the first Hero, who came from another world.
Home to the Holy Sword—a legendary weapon that only Heroes can wield.
It’s the only country capable of performing the miracle of summoning someone from another world, once certain conditions are met.
After centuries, those conditions were finally fulfilled, and the kingdom summoned a new Hero, beginning the grand mission to defeat the Demon King.
Sildent
The capital city of the Kingdom of Sildiel.
Cahel
The city closest to the border between Sildiel and the southern nation of Shunarte.
Southern Nation: Shunarte
A maritime kingdom occupying the southern coast of the continent, surrounded largely by ocean.
The first destination Abel set his sights on, and currently his main objective.
Northern Military Nation
A powerful militaristic country that long served as a buffer against the Demon King’s invasions.
The northern region of the continent is filled with dangerous, high-class monsters, yet this country’s people are strong enough to stand against them.
When the campaign against the Demon King began, they provided a massive army, thanks to Abel’s efforts to persuade them.
○ Soulbinding
In a world where multiple marriages are common, Soulbinding is a sacred vow made in the name of religion, where two people swear to love only each other for life.
It holds no legal or magical force, only the mutual trust and hearts of the two who make the oath.
This vow is considered noble precisely because it’s not enforced, and is respected even in a world where harems are normal.
However, breaking a Soulbinding results in punishment from the religion that officiated the vow.
The severity of the penalty depends on the reason for the breakup.
○Items & Tools
Potions
A general term for liquid magical medicines.
They can be drunk or applied directly, granting various effects depending on the type.
Types include:
Healing Potion – Restores physical wounds
Mana Recovery Potion – Restores mana
Stamina Boost Potion – Increases physical strength or vitality
Rations
A type of portable food, similar in purpose to potions, but in solid form.
Crafted by alchemists, these are block-shaped nutritional packs, about palm-sized, each one providing enough nutrition for two meals.
They’re made by extracting nutrients from various foods and combining them with animal feed grains.
They taste terrible.
Nicknamed “inedible bricks”.
Still, they’re cheap and easy to mass-produce, making them popular among the poorest citizens, and often made by beginner or shady alchemists for practice.
El
The universal currency used across the continent.
50,000 to 100,000 El/month is enough for a modest living.
Earning 300,000 El/month is considered a high income.
Magic Tools (Magic Items)
Items that use mana or magical energy to create special effects.
They draw mana either from the surrounding environment or directly from the user.
Magic Bag (Magic Pouch)
A magical bag that can store far more than it looks like it should.
They’re sold fairly regularly, but their price is very high.
White Phantom’s Vault
A legendary storage item owned by Abel.
Worn on his right hand’s middle finger, it allows mental activation—just by thinking about it, he can store or retrieve items.
Its storage capacity is enormous—enough to fit an entire castle.
A national treasure-class magic item, found in the ruins where the armor of a legendary Hero was once sealed.

It might take me just a little more time to finish polishing things, but please hang in there for a bit longer.
I’m trying to build up a backlog so I can post more frequently moving forward!
Now then—
What will happen to Abel and the others in the next volume?
Will the heroines manage to win his heart… or not!?
