Returnee from Another World - Chapter 66: Each Person’s Weakness
Chapter 66: Each Person’s Weakness
Mizuki Amasawa slumped against the sofa, exhausted, her chest heaving with heavy breaths. Her crotch overflowed with my semen, still caught in a whirlwind of intense pleasure. Yet, her face bore a satisfied expression, as if fulfilled by the sex. Though she’d resisted fiercely at first, by the end, she was moving her hips eagerly. There was no doubt she’d memorized the shape of my cock. Leaving her in that state, I quietly slipped out of the house.
This should be enough to break her. It wasn’t just Mizuki—any woman who took Warrabbit Ovaries would likely end up like this. The only question was how strong their love or guilt for their husband or lover was, or rather, how long they could endure the insatiable lust. Sex with their partner might temporarily ease it, but compared to the pleasure I’d given her, it would feel lacking, leaving her craving more. It was only a matter of time before Mizuki could no longer suppress her body’s urges.
Once that happened, I’d present her with proof of Katsuji Amasawa’s infidelity as the final blow. That should naturally shift her affections toward James Masuda. Not that I had any intention of taking responsibility for her. At best, I’d sleep with her when the mood struck.
With those selfish thoughts in mind, I stopped by my house, changed into my school uniform, and headed to school. If I hurried, I could make it to morning classes. I’d been skipping too often lately, so I wanted to avoid another absence.
Dodging the judgmental stares of old folks and housewives, I rushed to school. Arriving just before lunch break, I opted for the back gate to sneak in. The front gate would’ve exposed me to students watching from the classroom windows.
I vaulted over the back gate and crept toward a shortcut to the main entrance. At a corner of the school building, I spotted Tominaga Kenji standing idly, staring at something. I didn’t approach because we were buddies or because I cared what he was doing—he was the type to skip class, and I had no interest in his antics. But a woman’s moans from around the corner piqued my curiosity. Otherwise, I would’ve passed by without a second thought.
Sneaking up behind Tominaga, who wore a sleazy grin, I saw Sakaki Shintaro having sex with a girl on all fours, brazenly in broad daylight. He was thrusting into her from behind.
“Goddamn, getting it on in a place like this during class,” I muttered.
Hypocritical, considering I’d just skipped class to violate a married woman. It was Tominaga Kenji, Sakaki Shintaro, and Higuchi Nobuo—the usual crew. The girl’s face looked familiar. Her upper body was still in her school uniform, but her skirt was hiked up, her underwear pulled down to her knees. It was Shiori, a girl who used to be close to Kato Ayano before Ayano became attached to me.
“Shit, Shintaro, someone caught us!” Tominaga said.
“Tch, Kenji! I told you to keep watch… Wait, Kaburaki?” Sakaki said.
“K-Kaburaki-kun?” Shiori stammered.
Sakaki seemed relieved it was just me. Still, he wasn’t shameless enough to keep going. Glancing at me, he pulled out and tucked his cock back into his pants.
“Man, you scared me. What’re you doing here, Kaburaki-kun? Don’t tell me the teacher sent you to find me?” he said.
“Huh? Like I’d bother with that. I’m just late and passing through,” I said.
“Oh, right. Come to think of it, you weren’t in class this morning,” Tominaga said.
“Then don’t ask, dumbass. Anyway, why the hell are you guys fucking out here? There’s gotta be empty clubrooms or unused classrooms,” I said.
“Well, you know, we were teaching Shiori her place. She’s gotta spread her legs whenever we want, like a public toilet. Right, Shiori?” Sakaki said.
“Y-yes… Shiori’s everyone’s toilet girl,” she replied.
“See? She gets it. Wanna try her out, Kaburaki-kun? Her pussy’s got a nice grip,” Sakaki offered.
With her flashy face and makeup, Shiori looked decently cute, and her sizable breasts probably drew plenty of male attention. Still, compared to Ayano, she was far less appealing. It wasn’t about sharing with Sakaki’s crew—I just wasn’t interested in her. But my expression must’ve been grim. Sakaki’s comment about “teaching her place” and Shiori’s demeanor suggested she wasn’t doing this willingly. They likely had some leverage over her.
Noticing my mood, Tominaga nervously asked, “Uh… she’s not someone you’re after, right, Kaburaki-kun?”
“What? Why would you think that? When did you guys start messing with her? I didn’t see this vibe before,” I said.
“Uh, since this year. But Shiori said she’s got nothing to do with you…” Tominaga replied.
“So, you targeted her as Ayano’s replacement. If this is forced, that’s a bit of a problem,” I said.
I had no intention of lecturing them. Even if Shiori was targeted because of Ayano, I didn’t feel morally obligated to intervene. If it was tied to fate’s compulsion, there was nothing I could do. Saving Ayano might’ve caused ripples, but maybe Sakaki’s group would’ve targeted both her and Shiori originally. Worrying about every side effect would make changing Ayano’s fate impossible. I had to let it go.
“Kaburaki, we’ve stayed clear of your girl, so don’t start saying we can’t touch her friends too,” Sakaki said.
“And if I don’t like it, I’ll make sure you don’t touch her either. You’ve been forcing your bullshit on others forever. What, you gonna cry when you’re the one getting screwed?” I shot back.
“Tch… Screw you!” Sakaki spat.
“Wait, hold on, Kaburaki-kun! Shiori loves sex, see? We’re all just having fun, no problem. Right, Shiori?” Tominaga said.
“Y-yes… That’s right,” Shiori replied.
Her forced response made it clear Nobuo was coercing her. I couldn’t predict how Ayano would react if she found out. It wasn’t impossible I’d end up confronting Sakaki’s crew over this. But if Shiori claimed she was fine with it, I had no intention of saying more for now.
“Hmph. Whatever. Do what you want. I’m not getting involved with her—for now,” I said.
Glancing at Shiori, I left it at that and walked away. Her fawning expression toward Sakaki’s group was obvious, but I didn’t miss the brief flash of [Expectation]’s yellow directed at me, quickly turning to [Disappointment]’s gray. It overlapped with a memory of Ayano’s face, leaving me with an uneasy feeling.

I was drinking at L’OASI, the cabaret club run by Yasunaga, wrestling with my thoughts. My reason for being here, despite my busy schedule, was to keep tabs on Akuzawa Hitoshi, who occasionally showed up. I couldn’t relax until I dealt with him. I wasn’t certain Kyouka’s issue was truly resolved.
But how to handle him, and how far to go, was the problem. Honestly, I wasn’t keen on crossing that line. Killing Akuzawa would solve everything quickly, and having bloodied my hands in that other world, I might seem hypocritical for hesitating. But I saw those as separate—a bad dream I wasn’t escaping, but in this world, breaking the taboo of murder would unleash something unstoppable.
Besides, Kyouka’s situation with Akuzawa had just been settled after a mess. Even if we’d reached a mutual agreement, if Akuzawa vanished suddenly, people might connect it to our recent dealings. If there was no clear reason for his disappearance, suspicion would inevitably fall on me.
But I didn’t think I could handle Akuzawa the way I could Sakaki’s crew, with violence or threats. If beating him up would’ve worked, I’d have done it already. If he retaliated or held a grudge, that was one thing, but the risk was that Kyouka could get caught in the crossfire. If I was going to provoke him, I might as well erase him entirely. So, I was here, hoping to find some leverage to exploit.
As if answering my thoughts, a familiar gruff voice echoed from the entrance. At the edge of my vision, I saw Akuzawa, accompanied by Seichirou Kusunoki, the prefectural assemblyman, walking toward me, having spotted me the moment he entered.
