You will eventually have to let the readers know what your original vision was. I think the majority of the early feedback was the MC being a beta in how he approached things. If that is what you scaled down on, then that was the right call. But I honestly thought this was going to be more of an NTR novel and that never came about
And agreed with the other comment on update timing – you have been plenty fast enough – don’t worry about that issue.
I’d personally like to see an *Author’s Note* after the story is concluded to read what your original vision was if the story has changed quite a bit.
Also, don’t stress yourself over slow updates 🙂
