Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V4 Chapter 46
Chapter 46: “Going to Check Things Out, Right?” ②
“I never thought I’d actually meet a trap in real life—this is amazing!”
“Right?!”
Kazuto was practically in awe, while Natsuki nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, Leviathan flashed a smug “How do you like that?” expression, and Miyako let out a sigh, exasperated.
“…Boys, honestly.”
“Ahem. Anyway, let’s put aside the glorious Leviathan-sama for now. How was it?”
Noticing Miyako’s unimpressed stare, Natsuki cleared his throat and shifted the conversation.
He was asking about Kazuto’s brother’s funeral.
“My parents were sad… but also kind of relieved. Some relatives showed up, but a few of them had been victims of my dear brother’s behavior. They said their condolences, but honestly, I think they were just glad he was gone.”
“…That guy really was something else.”
“I always kept my distance from him. I knew nothing good would come from getting involved. Maybe if I had confronted him sooner—no… there’s no point thinking about that now.”
“He wouldn’t have listened anyway.”
“Yeah… you’re right.”
It might have sounded harsh, but there was no way someone like Yuto would have ever listened to Kazuto.
He hadn’t even cared when his own parents yelled at him—there was no way Kazuto could have changed him.
Even Natsuki had tried countless times back in elementary school.
He had complained, told Yuto to change his attitude, tried to set him straight.
It had all started when he kept getting dragged into Yuto’s messes—so many times that he nearly broke down, begging him to stop.
But Yuto never changed.
If anything, he twisted things in his head, brushing it off with a “Don’t be jealous,” and acting like he was the victim.
Not to mention, some of the girls who followed him around had given Natsuki hell for even trying.
“He always twisted everything to suit himself. He lived exactly how he wanted, no matter who it hurt. In the end, he gained power and tried to kill both me and Kazuto. He was rotten to the core.”
“…Yeah. Thinking back, I completely gave up on him last year. When he used my name to mess with the daughter of a certain dangerous businessman… I knew he was beyond saving. I mean, I actually got kidnapped by their office because of that. If Natsuki-kun hadn’t barged in, I’d probably be at the bottom of Tokyo Bay right now.”
“Oh yeah… that happened. Man, those guys were terrifying.”
They talked about it like a casual memory, but the contents were anything but normal.
Leviathan and Miyako exchanged glances, then muttered a collective: “…Uwa.”
About a year ago, Yuto had used Kazuto’s name to hit on the daughter of a certain dangerous businessman.
He hadn’t gone too far, but the girl had fallen hard for him—and that was enough for her father to get involved.
The problem? Yuto had introduced himself as Kazuto.
So when the businessman’s people came knocking, Kazuto was the one who got kidnapped.
When Natsuki found out, he didn’t wait for the police.
Instead, he hopped on his bike, stormed the office alone—and wreaked absolute havoc.
He knocked out every underling in sight, took down a bunch of mid-level guys despite getting roughed up himself, and even managed to take down half of the executive-looking ones before he finally collapsed.
By the time the dust settled, the businessman’s side had learned the truth—that Yuto had been using Kazuto’s name.
Realizing their mistake, they actually apologized.
Apparently, Yuto hadn’t just faked a name—he had faked his age too.
So when their underlings showed up with an actual middle schooler, even they had been stunned. And then, right after, another middle schooler stormed their office solo and started throwing hands.
Safe to say—they were very shocked.
After that, they took a liking to Natsuki, promising never to lay a finger on him, Kazuto, or their families again.
They even gave a little money for medical bills and an apology.
That said, they also made one thing very clear:
If Yuto ever messed with the girl again, they wouldn’t be so forgiving.
So the very next day—Natsuki, absolutely furious, decked Yuto for real.
Apparently, even Yuto was terrified of those guys, because he immediately backed off and never approached the girl again.
“Can’t believe it’s been a year already… Actually, now that I think about it, Natsuki-kun—you were basically a hero even before getting summoned to another world.”
“What kind of logic is that?”
“A brave one. A fearless one. That’s what makes a hero.“
“Stooop it! That’s embarrassing!”
Kazuto’s praise made Natsuki flustered, prompting him to squirm uncomfortably.
Meanwhile, Leviathan and Miyako both took a step back in perfect sync.
“…Yeah, no. Normal people don’t just storm a yakuza office.”
“…Whether you have power or not—being that unreasonable is just crazy.”
〜〜Afterword〜〜
Back then, thanks to Yuto, Natsuki and Kazuto had plenty of enemies—not just at school, but even in high schools and universities.
But after this incident, everyone collectively decided “Yeah… let’s not mess with them.”
And so, peace returned.
Also, they did tell Haruko-san everything. She was furious.
She even tried returning the money they had received, but it turned into a whole ordeal because the other side refused to take it back.
Oh—and as it turned out, the executive whom Natsuki took down?
He was actually Mama Haruko’s old classmate.
Yeah. Small world.
Next time: Natsuki makes plans to hang out with Kazuto and heads home.
