Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V4 Chapter 44
Chapter 44: “Did Something Follow Me Home?”
“—Magnificent! I had heard that Natsuki Yura-dono was a remarkable warrior despite his youth, but to think he owes it all to the unwavering support of his wonderful wife!”
“Oh my, how embarrassing! Truly, my husband is helpless without me.”
At the Yura household, Ginko was in peak form—going all out in front of Thor, the Thunder God.
Since Thor had no knowledge of Natsuki’s actual relationships, Ginko took full advantage of the situation, weaving a completely fabricated story as if imprinting it into his mind.
At first, she had kept it subtle, playing within a plausible gray area—“Oh? That could be true?”—but before she knew it, she had gone completely off the rails.
By now, her tale had grown into a grand epic, easily spanning the length of three full-length movies.
Even she realized she had gone too far.
But once she got going—there was no stopping her.
“Are you okay with this, Koume-san?”
With a quiet sip of tea, Nancy casually posed the question to Koume, who was crunching on a rice cracker.
Nancy was fully onboard with the idea of Ginko and Koume both ending up with Natsuki—but even she couldn’t help feeling a little concerned about Ginko’s antics.
Not to mention—normally, Koume would have stepped in to put a stop to things.
Yet today, she hadn’t said a word.
“…The story’s gotten so ridiculously over-the-top that it’s beyond saving. It’s too painful to even bother correcting.”
“Ah, so that’s the problem.”
A mix of relief and exasperation crossed Nancy’s face as she nodded in understanding.
That said—even for a Grey alien, who found Ginko easy to talk to, sitting there listening to such an obviously ridiculous fantasy with a serious “Hmm, I see” expression was a bit much.
Even aliens had their limits.
Ginko was probably expecting someone to call her out by now—
But somehow, the conversation had been accepted at face value, and now there was no stopping it.
Every now and then, she shot quick glances in their direction—
A silent plea for help.
But Koume and Nancy both decided to leave her be.
After all, this was a good lesson for getting carried away.
“—What the hell?”
“What’s wrong, Koume-san?”
Noticing Koume suddenly lift her head, Nancy looked at her with concern.
Both Ginko, who had been speaking nonstop, and Thor, who had been listening, fell silent.
Nancy didn’t sense anything—
But for gods, angels, and those with spiritual abilities, something must have triggered an alarm.
“Of all things… that decided to show up?”
Koume muttered, chewing on her rice cracker before washing it down with tea.
Then, standing up, she sighed.
“Seriously, Natsuki—first you get summoned to another world, and now you’ve caught the attention of that thing? You might actually be cursed.”
A moment later—
“I’m home!”
Natsuki’s voice rang through the house.
“Nice, nice! I love houses like this—so classic, like a proper Japanese family home! Alright, I’m making this my new base!”
Along with Natsuki’s voice, another energetic, bubbly, and undeniably cute voice rang out.
Before anyone could react, Koume stepped forward—lightly kicking the hallway leading to the front entrance.
“First, I must introduce myself to your dear mother! I am Leviako, your future bride! Please take care of me forev— Gbhwaah?!“
“WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WITH NATSUKI?!”
By the time Nancy and the others made it to the front door, they were met with quite the sight—
A completely unknown girl, her face buried into Koume’s outstretched foot.

Meanwhile, at a certain dance studio…
Satan: “Yes! Yes! That’s it! More passion! More heat! Dance with your soul!”
A trial dance lesson was being held—
And Jack found himself locked in an intense, fiery dance session with Satan.
Now, for a little behind-the-scenes gossip…
Between us—
It turns out that the cutie Leviako has been secretly viewing the stunning Koume as her ultimate rival.
