Prologue: “Back to School After Ages?”

Natsuki Yura was a hero summoned to another world, wielding the Holy Sword.

After defeating the Demon King and slaying a demonic god, he returned home, only to discover that fantasy seemed to have spilled over into his everyday life.

Surrounded by angels, demons, and gods, he now enjoys a rather laid-back life.

Having finished breakfast, Natsuki took his dishes to the kitchen, then headed back to his room to change into his school uniform. He closed the window, checked to make sure he wasn’t forgetting anything, and slipped his smartphone into his uniform pocket.

“…This routine is something I’ve been doing every day, yet I haven’t actually gone to school properly since coming back from the other world. It’s weird… I thought there wouldn’t be any fantasy here when I returned, but now I’m completely surrounded by it.”

Hoping today might finally be the day he makes it to school, Natsuki headed downstairs, greeting his family in the living room.

“Well, I’m off!”

“Take care! And watch out for any sudden world transfers!”

“Yeah, make sure you don’t end up in some random other world, okay?”

“…How exactly am I supposed to respond to that?”

On his way to school, Natsuki received warnings from Koume Lucifer and Ginko Aoyama, who knew firsthand about his past world transfer experience. But even for a hero who returned from another world, avoiding such incidents wasn’t exactly something he could control.

“My friend, aside from world transfers, please also be cautious of sudden abductions.”

“Don’t forget about cattle mutilations too!”

“Wait, does that mean aliens haven’t given up on humans yet!?”

Hearing such serious warnings from Jack Randock Jasper Williamson Chamber Hanamaki—a Grey alien—and his fiancée, Nancy Peety Lottrott Nigelmarie Akaboshi, made Natsuki suddenly feel like staying home was a much safer option.

“Nura-nura. Don’t bully our big brother too much, okay? Look, I made you a bento. Since it’s warm out, I added a cooling pack for you.”

“Thanks! Well, I’m off!”

“Take care!”

Waving cheerfully, Natsuki headed off to school as his family smiled and saw him off.

“Wait, wait, wait, hold up! How did no one notice!? You’d be shocked if there was some random old dude in your house, right!? I wasn’t using any Nurarihyon-like powers or blending in! I wasn’t nura-nura-ing at all! How did no one notice me!? And even if they did notice, isn’t that terrifying in its own way!?”




The Nurarihyon, who had secretly joined Natsuki’s family, yelled in frustration while still wearing an apron, baffled by Natsuki’s complete lack of reaction.

We’re starting Volume 4 (in the style of chilled Chinese noodles).
