She had been easily observing the space—specifically, Kazuto—but shuddered at the terrifying event that unfolded.

“Amaterasu-sama, did something happen?”

“Natsuki Yura-kun, Kazuto Miyahara-kyun, Ginko-chan, and Koume-san have been captured by a high-ranking demon in a pseudo-space.”

“That’s terrible!”

“However, I cannot go to rescue them. As a deity, no, because I am a deity, I cannot intervene, even if the opponents are demons.”

“I understand. Then, this Unkai here will exert all her efforts for the sake of Natsuki-dono, our benefactor, and Kazuto Miyahara-sama, the sweet honey of the Great Goddess Amaterasu-sama!”

“―Grandma!”

Amaterasu was moved by Unkai’s consideration of her divine status.

“But, Grandma, you power…”

“Did you notice? If only I were five years younger…”

“It’s okay! Normally, it wouldn’t be permissible, but this is for Kazuto-kyun! Besides, I’ve grown fond of you, Grandma!” 

Saying this, the Sun Goddess placed her hand on Unkai’s forehead and infused her with a bit of divine spirit.

Instantly, Unkai’s spiritual power more than doubled.

“What’s this!?”

“I’ve made Grandma five years younger, though it’s limited. It’s just a little blessing.”

“To think the day would come when I would receive a blessing from the Great Goddess Amaterasu-sama herself! I’m so touched! Feeling five years younger, I almost feel like I’ve become a pretty girl again!”
