Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - Chapter 46
Chapter 46: “Isn’t a brother like this disgusting?” ②
“…You’re the worst.”
“Don’t get me wrong. I never asked them to get intimate, and I found the money bothersome. And, I haven’t laid a hand on Anzu, so rest assured.”
“It’s not like I’m worried.”
“Even if I say I don’t want their money, they force it on me, so I use it effectively. I’d like to know what you think I should do instead.”
Despite what Yuto says, the fact that he accepts money from the girls and engages in physical relationships with them remains unchanged.
“So, you use Anzu and the others to hurl insults at Natsuki. What do you want to achieve?”
“That’s a misunderstanding. I’m concerned about Anzu and Asuka speaking ill of Natsuki too. They just don’t understand Natsuki’s good qualities. To be honest, it’s embarrassing to be compared to him every time. Anzu and Asuka, being foolish, don’t know any other way to catch my attention except by demeaning Natsuki. It’s really frustrating.”
“…You.”
As far as Kazuto knew, Yuto only showed a troubled expression when Anzu and Asuka spoke ill of Natsuki, a similar reaction he had towards Kazuto. However, Kazuto hadn’t expected Yuto to admit feeling embarrassed when compared to Natsuki, almost as if acknowledging Natsuki’s superiority.
“I don’t like speaking ill of others either, so I told them to stop, but somehow, despite claiming they like me, they don’t listen.”
Yuto’s way of speaking sounded exasperated.
For Kazuto, it was nothing but unpleasant dialogue. In reality, when Natsuki was bad-mouthed, Yuto would just ambiguously smile and hardly ever scold them. Thus, being told it was against his wishes now hardly made sense to Kazuto.
Furthermore, the fact that Yuto was telling this to Kazuto, his own brother, instead of Natsuki himself, seemed to imply an ulterior motive.
(Not that I’m being paranoid, but it’s like he’s manipulating me to tell him because he thinks it won’t be believed coming from him… surely that can’t be the case.)
“You know that Anzu and Asuka are the problem, right? While they claim to like me, they attempt things like sugaring, pushing for physical relationships, or framing other girls, which is troublesome. I don’t even understand the point of sugaring. It was good that I stopped it beforehand, but if they’re coming onto me, I’d prefer they don’t let old men touch them.”
“That’s not the point…”
Kazuto felt a headache coming on regarding the sugaring, having tried to stop it himself. He hadn’t known that Yuto had also preemptively put a stop to it.
“Above all, regarding the collapse of Natsuki’s family, it’s Anzu who’s at fault. You seem to be misunderstanding, Kazuto, but I never told Anzu to do anything. Sure, being Natsuki’s sister might have been too much for her, but to destroy a family? There’s no way I would make Natsuki sad like that.”
“…Why?”
Kazuto felt an indescribable discomfort towards his brother.
He couldn’t pinpoint what made him uneasy, but it felt as though they weren’t properly communicating. It was as if Yuto wasn’t really seeing Kazuto, even though he was right in front of him.
“Even Asuka, who was mistaken by Natsuki and Kazuto for a boy, convinced herself that they were interested in her. It’s laughable.”
“And what does that make you, getting involved with someone like Asuka-san?”
“I’m a guy, so of course I like pleasurable things. Having one easy girl like Asuka around is convenient, isn’t it?”
“…You’re a complete scumbag.”
“Anzu, Asuka, and the other girls, they were annoyingly clingy, but it’s not fun when they suddenly change their attitude. I’ve been looking after them instead of Natsuki. Anzu is always noisily calling me ‘big brother,’ even though I tell her I’m not her brother. Asuka even started saying she doesn’t want to be intimate anymore, but I never asked her to let me. It’s infuriating that they initiated it, claiming it was proof of our love, taking photos and videos.”
“…You did things like that? Makes me sick.”
Kazuto felt nauseated learning about his brother’s affairs, something he wished he hadn’t known.
As he was about to leave his brother’s room, wanting no further part in the conversation, Yuto stood up and reached out.
Yuto’s arm grabbed Kazuto’s forearm, squeezing with unnecessary force.
“—!”
“You know, I don’t really care about Anzu and the others. But why has Kazuto been calling Natsuki so familiarly since earlier?”
“What are you—?”
“Natsuki’s childhood friend is me, you know?”
A chill ran down his spine.
Kazuto had thought that while Anzu and Asuka were infatuated with Yuto, they also had some sort of fixation on Natsuki.
However, at that moment, Kazuto realized something.
That the one most obsessed with Natsuki was his own brother.
“Let go! You’re creeping me out!”
He forcefully shook off his brother’s arm and left the room.
Fortunately, he wasn’t followed.
(He acts like he’s not involved, but judging by his attitude towards Natsuki-kun, I’m sure he’s up to no good. Seriously, what a disgusting brother.)
