Story kinda requires you to have a considerable amount of suspension of disbelief. MC wakes up in the villain’s body, knows he was an asshole before the reincarnation, then immediately shifts to a nicer attitude, not caring whether it would look suspicious. People around him just almost immediately accepts the attitude change too. I understand that it’s fiction, but it kinda feels like shallow characterization. Still, give it a read and see for yourself.
