- Please Don’t Let the Woman in Front of Me Cry - My Yandere Subordinate and the Three Idiotic Magical Girls Should Stay Out of My Way
- Chapter 51 - Holding the Fort (End?)
The moonlight shone equally on everyone in the room
Subordinate, who had fallen asleep atop Boss, the mistress sleeping while holding Boss’s head, the bewildered Boss, and Original leaning against the wall.
Boss glanced at the clock on the wall. The night had deepened, yet sleepiness had fled elsewhere.
Attempting to move away from Subordinate and the mistress, Boss squirmed. Finally escaping the two, he slowly stood up and cautiously checked his lower half.
“Thank goodness…”
Murmuring as if squeezing the words out, Boss touched his mouth and shed a single tear.
Despite the abnormal force applied, rendering them a bit uneven, the two items worthy of protection remained firmly in place on his lower half.
“There were definitely a few moments when it stretched too far and almost went bad, but you managed to protect them well.”
Original applauded Boss, who nodded vigorously and satisfied, pulled on his pajama pants.
For Boss now, even the slight stimulation of putting on pajamas was painful, but he felt a sense of pride in it.
“Sorry about that. I ended up showing you something quite peculiar.”
Boss apologized, to which Original shook her head.
“No, no, thanks to you, I got to experience the mysteries of humanity.”
And she added with a laugh, “I also understand why those kids can’t beat you guys.”
“Anyway, I think I’ll take my leave now. Take good care of those kids for me.”
Saying so, Original opened the window.
“Well, when we meet again, I’m counting on you.”
“Next time we meet, we might find ourselves as enemies,” she quipped, followed by a gust of wind from outside.
Boss squinted against the wind. When he opened his eyes again, Original had vanished.
As if the events were all a dream, the surroundings were quiet. Boss remembered he was tired.
Yawning greatly, he searched for a space. Curling up in that space, he immediately fell asleep.
