Please Don’t Let the Woman in Front of Me Cry - My Yandere Subordinate and the Three Idiotic Magical Girls Should Stay Out of My Way - Chapter 49
In the bedroom where Boss, Subordinate, and the lady master were sleeping, a mysterious woman appeared, pressing her hand over Boss’s mouth.
The cries for help were muffled by the hand pressed against them. Beside Boss, Subordinate and the lady master slept soundly.
Somehow, Boss flailed his arms, trying to push the woman before him away. His left hand swung widely and hit the woman.
However, the blow seemed to be deflected by something. Boss felt a strong sense of déjà vu.
The woman, seemingly unfazed, whispered in Boss’s ear.
“Be quiet for a moment.”
Boss complied quietly. He couldn’t afford to be careless yet, though she didn’t seem to harbor explicit malice.
After all, sneaking into the bedroom in the middle of the night and facing an opponent he couldn’t handle meant she wasn’t just any normal person.
Confirming that Boss had quieted down, the woman removed her hand from his mouth.
“I’m sorry for being so rough.”
Her hair, illuminated by the moon, shone like topaz.
“Who are you?”
Boss asked the woman in a whisper. After pondering for a moment, she opened her mouth.
“I am the original creator of magical girls.”
With a smile, the woman whispered to Boss to call her “The Original.”
Finally, Boss understood the déjà vu he felt earlier. If she was a magical girl, it’s no wonder Boss didn’t notice her, and it explained why Subordinate and the others fell asleep so quickly.
However, if she was a magical girl, did that mean he was in grave danger?
As if reading his thoughts, The Original touched Boss’s cheek.
“Don’t worry. I’m not here to harm you.”
Her touch carried a mysterious warmth and, with it, a sense of nostalgia.
“Have you touched me before?”
Before he knew it, Boss found himself asking The Original. She smiled sadly and answered, “Yes.”
Boss’s expression turned sharp. He remembered meeting a childhood friend who was taken hostage.
That made him desperately try to recall any forgotten memories from his past.
But he couldn’t remember anything.
“Who exactly are you?”
Boss swallowed nervously. The magical girl looked down, shook her head slightly, and faced Boss again.
“I was the one who touched your right buttock on the train.”
“It was you!!!” Boss exclaimed. So that’s why he found the warmth of her hand nostalgic!
“It seemed fun, so I just went with it.”
The Original, touching her head and smiling shyly, sat down on the futon.
“So, what does The Original want with me?”
Boss, rubbing his eyes sleepily, asked.
“I don’t have any particular reason. It’s just that those kids said they couldn’t win against you at all, so I got curious about what kind of person you are.”
The Original stared at the moon. Silence fell between them for a while.
Boss faced The Original initially, but as the silence lingered, he too began to gaze at the moon.
Behind Boss, a shadow flickered.
