- Please Don’t Let the Woman in Front of Me Cry - My Yandere Subordinate and the Three Idiotic Magical Girls Should Stay Out of My Way
- Chapter 33/34 - Blackout/ Awakening
Enveloped by light and darkness due to the mischief of aliens, the laundry room was shrouded in an unusual ambiance.
Boss was in a stark white space created by an overwhelmingly powerful force.
Looking around, he noticed an alien standing in the same manner.
“Sorry, I might have gone a bit overboard,” the alien said, sticking out its tongue and bringing its hands together in a gesture of apology.
“Well, yeah,” Boss replied nonchalantly.
“But seriously, can we even get out of this space?” The boss asked, throwing a sincere question at the alien.
“Hehehe, probably not,” the alien answered with a smile, responding to Boss’s inquiry.
“I see,” Boss said, sitting in the white space and stretching out comfortably.
The alien also lay down, and a peaceful and quiet time passed.
The boss thought about various things in a daze—the evil organization, his comrades, his past—and smiled slightly, thinking it wasn’t too bad.
At one moment, Boss turned over in his sleep, and the alien’s face was right before his eyes.
“Oops,” he reflexively turned his face away from the alien and rolled over again.
“Oh my, what do we have here?” a playful voice of the alien came from behind.
Feeling slightly awkward after the sudden roll, the alien spoke to Boss.
“You don’t have to be so shy. We’re buddies, aren’t we?”
To that question, Boss replied, “Well, you are cute, which makes it even more embarrassing.”
The alien laughed lightly and asked Boss another question, “That’s an honor. But tell me, who do you think is cuter between Subordinate-chan and me?”
Boss showed a wry smile, seeming a bit hesitant to answer.
“Subordinate-chan isn’t here right now. Let’s have a heart-to-heart, Boss. Subordinate-chan is cute, but of course, I don’t plan on losing to her.”
The alien, barely hiding a smirk, urged Boss to choose.
“Well, both of you are cute,” Boss said.
But if I had to say… After saying that, Boss pointed at the alien with a small gesture.
The alien, pointing at himself, asked softly, “Me?”
Boss nodded slightly.
“In general terms, that is,” Boss added, sticking to a general viewpoint.
The alien grinned, “You’re killing me here.”
The temperature in the space began to drop gradually, and the white space fluctuated.
“Looks like it’s about time, huh?” the alien said with a smile.
“So, it was noticeable after all,” Boss remarked, sounding quite disappointed.
“Well, let’s meet again on the other side. Hopefully, we’re both safe,” the alien said, laughing joyfully.
“I’ll be taking you with me,” Boss replied with a slight smile.
Both of their consciousnesses then momentarily blacked out.
◆
The Alien and Boss find themselves trapped in a white space after the collision of powers between the Red Magical Girl and the Subordinate.
The white space distorts as the Alien and Boss get a bit cozy and are pulled back into the real world.
“You’re finally awake.”
As Boss opens his eyes, he sees Subordinate’s face in his blurry, dim vision.
He feels a gentle touch on his head and realizes he’s resting on Subordinate’s lap.
As his consciousness returns, Boss notices something wrong with his body.
His right calf is unbelievably painful.
With every pulse of blood, the pain intensifies.
“Hey, Subordinate, did you do something to me?”
Boss asks, looking for the cause.
“It’s your fault for not waking up,”
Subordinate turns away with a huff,
And mutters something about feeling frustrated.
“I wonder why I felt frustrated,”
Boss hears a snickering voice from the Alien, making him smile despite the situation.
“You two seem to be having fun,”
The subordinate looks at them with a puzzled expression.
“Just calm down,” Boss says as he stands up.
“To me, all three of you look like you’re having fun,”
The Red Magical Girl, watching from a distance, chimes in.
Boss turns to her, noticing that the Blue and Green Magical Girls are gone, leaving the Red Magical Girl alone on a chair.
“Where are the other two?”
Boss asks the Red Magical Girl.
“They’ve already gone home,”
She answers bluntly.
“You can go home too,” Subordinate snaps.
“Even if we’re enemies, I share some blame for how things turned out…”
The Red Magical Girl murmurs, sounding a bit downcast.
“Come on, Subordinate,” Boss soothes.
The Red Magical Girl stands up, regaining her composure.
“Looks like you’re not in any danger, so I might as well head home,”
She says before walking towards the door.
“Well, I’ll let you off for today,”
Subordinate retorts sarcastically.
Just as the Red Magical Girl reaches the door, it opens suddenly, and a man in black enters.
“Boss! You’re here!”
He scans the room, spotting Boss.
“What happened… Why are you all beat up?”
He’s shocked by the state of the laundry room behind Boss.
“Well, a lot happened. What do you want?”
Boss inquires.
“It’s time for the evacuation drill, Boss. Please get ready to start,”
The man in black leaves after delivering his message.
The Red Magical Girl tilts her head.
“Your organization does evacuation drills too?”
She comments, somewhat impressed, looking back at the two.
However, the atmosphere between the two has completely changed from before.
“What? What’s going on?”
Confused, the Red Magical Girl asks but receives no answer.
“Subordinate, go get ready to participate,”
Boss orders seriously.
“Okay, understood,”
Now, with a dark, clear gaze, the subordinate looks at Boss differently.
Seconds later, she slips past the Red Magical Girl and exits through the door.
“What’s happening here?”
The Red Magical Girl is left asking, but no one answers.
“Magical Girl, you should join too,”
The boss quickly ushers the Red Magical Girl out the door after Subordinate.
Left outside, the Red Magical Girl can only utter a bewildered “Ehh…” as she reluctantly follows Subordinate’s departing figure.
